I know this is kind of the point, but the pain is a bit too much. The area is underneath the testicles, where the base ring meets the skin. The area starts to burn and becomes very red. This has stopped play on a few occasions. There is a lot of advice on this subject but none that I've seen quite hit the spot.

I'm wearing a metal cage which is snug but not tight when flaccid, around 4cm long, with a 45mm circle ring. I've tried 40mm ring but that feels very tight. The 45mm is a little loose, I can get a finger under the ring.

A lot of advice says have a hot shower or go calm down. This does reduce the soreness, but that's not really an option mid-tease! What can I do?

I've definitely been there as Mistress is an expert in teasing. First, stick with the 45 mm ring. A teasing is supposed to be frustrating and fun for both parties, so firmness is good, pain is bad. It sounds odd, but spread out your ball skin so it's not bunching and pay special attention to what we'll call the tubes. Also, pull as much ball skin down as possible toward the ground. Additionally, it just takes a bit of time to get used to it being in the belt (a few months).

Sounds like a pressure sore. What type of cage?

I'm sticking with 45mm, the 40mm is far too tight and just doesn't feel good at all.

It definitely does bunch up and irritate the skin, the whole area goes quite an aggressive red colour.

I don't think my cage has a name, it's a dhgate one. around 4.5cm in length, fairly open steel with a circular base ring.

I do have another cage which has the more oval type of base ring which doesn't hurt half as bad, definitely manageable, but that's a bit too long for everyday use at 6/7cm long.

When I had the same problem I used aspercream with lidocaine. My wife flatly refuses to remove my cage as long as there are no sores or lack of circulation, it doesn’t matter how much pain I’m in. The lidocaine really worked for me. Over time my ball skin toughened and I have few problems now.

Do you use any lubricant on the ring? I use baby oil which helps a lot, I don’t get sore so much from teasing but do get wakened in the morning with it when needing to pee.
But the oil cools and lets it move easily

I think I definitely need to think more about lubrication. As it stands it's a bit of moisturizer daily and vaseline when it starts to hurt. I definitely think I have it lucky as genuine pain means it can come off.

My advice would be a carbon copy of @sissydavenport it takes time to get use to a wearing a ring just like your wedding ring at first you always knew it was their but over time your body adjusts. Good Luck

I've woke up this morning with the exact same feeling as being teased. Bunching of the skin and very tender and red skin. I got some aloe vera baby oil yesterday for when this happens and I applied it. It allowed me to spread out the skin a little but it is still sore (but bearable), maybe an hour later.

Taking it off isn't an option this time so I'll have to bear it. Annoyingly the knowledge that I can't remove it isn't letting me calm down easily!

Sorry, I can't find the edit button.

About 30 minutes after my post I had another readjustment. Turns out I was still a little bunched/ pinched. I smoothed the skin out again and no more problems.

I've got a few days to get used to the cage again before the weekend where I'm expecting some more teasing.

I tend to keep mine lubricated most of the time with oil, and before I go to bed I pour a few drops on it as well.

Glad to hear that it's working. Insane sentence of the day: There is a lot more ball skin adjusting involved in chastity than you would imagine. The teasings really do take a bit getting used to in the belt because there are a different set of sensations that you need to pay attention to (rather than unbelted).
