So, after many many weeks of waiting my brand new Rigid Chastity device arrived. It fits like a glove. However, I am finding that there is some tenderness in my PA from time to time. Once I remove the PA pin, it takes a few hours for the pain to subside. Not sure exactly what is going on.
This of course is in addition to the scrotal pulling you feel with the ballsack ring.

Does anyone else have a PA piercing and device that feels like it is pulling and what did you do about it?

If the PA is healed well, the size is right and the pain occurs only from time to time it might be to the fact that there has been tension on the pa (f.e. due to turtling)...

Where is it localized? The front? Are you pulling back? The floor all around? Are you pressed against the bottom?

I don’t have these sensations anymore in my current devices but when the device was too long, or my piercing was smashed against material I would Have pain.

Is it immediate when you go in, or just after you are released after a while in the cage? Is it fine when you’re in but painful after release? Are you swollen at all?

All fully healed for a couple of years now. Fully stretched to 5mm.

That is a superb description, 'Turtling'

I suspect that is something to do with it. Generally speaking the fit is superb. But when I'm shrunk up the head is a few mm from the chrome dome.

My initial thoughts were the shape of the pin. This is generally 5mm and hooked with a 3mm bar scooping around what is left of my foreskin. However at the base of the pin is a fat blob where the two bits have been welded together and the pin expands into the blob. My first thoughts were that this was being pushed through the PA like a taper, but I'm not sure. hence the post.

The idea of 'turtling' is a good one and this may result in pulling back on the PA. I guess my question is, should I send it back for modifications or will it be something I get used to?

It's hard to say exactly where it's localised. I'd probably say around the bottom of the piercing. I'm neither smashed against the front or pulling back from the front, but who knows when I'm ZZzzzzzing.

The sensation comes occasionally and when I remove the pin, the piercing is tender. See my previous reply regarding the flaring out of the pin. Once removed and replaced with a CBB the tenderness goes after only a couple of hours.

I had the exact same problem when I got my Rigid Chastity device with the S-hook. It took two or three days of wearing until the problem started, and after resting the piercing for a day or two it was gone. The way I solved the problem was simply by wearing the device for short periods (1-2 days) and increasing the time to make sure everthing was ok. After three weeks the problems were gone, and I can now wear it longer periods without any discomfort.

I had the same problem with the same device I had dremel off the little piece under the pad pin to give me a out an 1/8 of an inch relief back now I'm good but the pa pin itself does not come out of my penis head so I'm getting a little aggravation there but seems to be comfortable after modifying no pain This morning so I handed the keys back we will see definitely a hands off device

I'm still deciding whether to take the Dremel (Of in my case Bosch) to it or not. It's quite new to me and today's experience suggests it is something that I will adjust to. I've now been wearing it for 9 hours and although I can feel the sting, it's not as bad is it has been on previous times.

I'm still not sure if it is due to 'turtling' or the expansion of the pin at the base.

Well, like you, i'm gradually increasing the wear time. I've worn it for 9 hours so far today and although I'm getting twinges It's not as bad as it has been on previous occasions.
Still not sure if it is due to 'Turtling' or the flaring of pin at the base.

For me it was a matter of getting used to the flaring. My device is really short so even when turtling it's touching the front of the cage.

    Sorry to hear that.

It’s good you’re getting a change made instead of suffering through it. Chastity is not CBT, and piercing pain can’t be ignored. You spent a lot of time getting the piercing ready for chastity, and you don’t want to lose or damage it.

You really want no excuses to be let out. :)

For me, I never found comfort until I got a fixed pin. Hopefully the change will provide you relief.

Just had a look at the device and it is hard to say as both reasons might cause problems.

If it is the 'blob' stretching your piercing somewhat further you might adapt to it with time , but don' t stress the time wearing it as it might damage your piercing.

If it is the pin beeing too far in the front i would send it in to shorten the distance to the a-ring and extend the length of the pin.

Make sure you dont 'dremel' anything by yourself unless you can also polish it...

How many weeks did it take for you to get yours? I ordered mine at the end of November and the order was accepted on December 7, 2018. Still waiting. No update from company.

The amount of time spent waiting for an order is unacceptable. I kind of regret purchasing from them now. I doubt any work has been done, I wonder if they'd offer a refund 8f pressed?

Can't really offer any other advice than to take steps to to stop your set up causing pulling on your PA until it has fully healed and toughened up a bit.

I had my Pa done decades before I started into utilising it as additional security for chastity devices so I never had a problem.

I paid through PayPal so I could open a case if things went wrong but despite the delay I am told that their devices will arrive and will be of an excellent standard.

Personally I had a Rigid cage but could not deal with the S hook. It pushes the bottom up and the wire cuts into the underside on me.
I use a Lori cage now that is more comfortable yet more restrictive this allows me to keep the foreskin out the cage out the back no need for space inside the tube for skin to fold up and trap bacteria.
With this knowledge I would try a Ridgid again but with a standard hook and tighter.
Trouble is Ridgid customer service sucks always has always will.
They try but basically can't keep it straight. I ordered 2 and they made 3 errors. But so did Lori, go figure.
