I am very experienced with wearing chasity devices but I have never bought one that has a plug.

I've always been worried about long term wear and causing irritations or UTIs.

Does anyone use Plugs? If so what devices? And how long can you wear them?

There are quite a few threads on plugs already, have a search and you will see, you will also see there are 2 very different opinions on them!! Mine is a no. You are creating a opening for infection to get in to your body.

Your wise to be worried! Make sure you read the information available on this site before you start down this road. There's plenty of good advice here. But beware of the risks.

I've always wanted to try a plug, but it's just not suitable for long-term wear imho. I've heard of folks using them for playtime but that's about it.

Many of the more "serious" devices that include them stress that they're removable and can be worn without the plug for this reason.

Apart from UTIs there is also the risk of damaging your uretha ( and f.e. causing bleeding) when you accidently move the wrong way.
If you are looking for an anti pullout option without piercing you might try tethersprouts.
They might also cause an opening - depending on how you use them and therefore increase the chance of an UTI, but as they are really short and not all the way down like most plugs there is quite a difference.

I am new as well. Caged for Locktober.
1st time caged for more than a few days.
I have a DHGate modified - A bar is turned up to my PA hole,
& it then touches a urethral insert that goes back maybe 5".
I've been in for 26 days now.
I will do some searches on this topic now.
    ---
What I like about this device is that there is no mess when I urinate.
With the insert it's always a solid stream out. -- And a long distance.
Not like what happens with you pee with something in your PA piercing.
