I can get my cage on fairly easily and it feels comfortable but whenever I need to pee in it, I can’t just relax as I need to push just to create a constant flow. Anyone know why this is happening and if there’s an easy solution?
Its usually because your pee hole its pressed up against the plastic rather than the opening. When I used devices like that I used to carry a cotton bud around with me so I can hook the tip down when i wanted to pee....during the night time hardon ...well its a lot harder to change the orientation but it can be done I use a looker 2 that has a urethral insert which looks scary but it solves this problem completely, also the big (pictured) belt because ti keeps the cock pointed down and into the open, neither do i ever have a problem like that either. But if you device is like the one in your avatar its probably for the reasons I said
Lining up the end will help, as will time as you adjust to the feeling of the cage and doing things a new way.
I find that it takes a few days to sort of "settle in". I've always been afflicted with "stage fright" when it comes to peeing, and often the feel of something against my pee hole just accentuates that feeling. For sure being lined up and no restrictions makes things much easier.
I have this exact kind of issue, whenever in chastity. I get the urge to need to pee, go to bathroom and sit down to pee. After a bit of concentration i manage to pee a bit, but never get the same flow as when out of the device. Always leave the bathroom feeling as though i have not fully relieved myself. Which only means i have to go through this process more than i normal would throughout the day if not locked up.
If things are tight: A) Because the cage is small/perfect fit B) You are not completely flaccid, then the tube is compressed and urine cannot flow without forcing it. Mind that urine leaves nevertheless from you bladder until the point of blockage. This could cause some trouble if urine (from the sterile environment inside the bladder) stays inside the channel that could be infected, and if the valve doesn't shut off properly could move back and cause an infection. Tip: Keep everything as clean as possible and check if after peeing you have any leakage. At least in my case, after I pee, I get even more flaccid, the passage completely unblocks and the trapped urine escapes. After peeing I always use a couple of napkins in place in order to get it. If that was not happening I would move on a a wider cage.
You might want to consider using a urethral insert. Even a short flexible one can make all the difference.
The diameter of you cage is too small. Stop using it and get a larger one. I've been down this road and it led to a nasty UTI. Get a set of plastic sizing rings and determine your actual size.
