Plastic isn't a problem with a metal detector. If the do a body scan who knows what they might see or think. If it bothering you that much put your cage in your carry on and lock your self back up after you go through security if Possible.

On a similar issue. I went to the passport office the other day wearing a stainless steel HT knock off. I warned them I was wearing body jewellery as I emptied my pockets. They decided that it was my belt buckle setting off the scanner and the more precise wand thing then waved me on through.

The HT and my PA are made of stainless and the lock is brass neither of which are magnetic so maybe it was just my belt buckle.

I have been through the metal detector (TSA pre check) with the holy trailer (plastic cage but metal lock) several times with no issue.

Does anyone have experience going through the AIT full-body scanners with a holy trainer locked on?

When we travel by plane I'm locked in my CB6000s with a plastic lock. Not been a problem so far. Wonder what they make of our suitcase though as I believe they are all x-rayed. Strap on, harness and dildo! Not exactly easy to hide. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter that much, we are a married couple who have a slightly different sex life, which in most countries is not illegal after all. Probably gives the operators a laugh.

When ian has to travel I always lock him in a fully plastic cb. No, he doesn't have spare locks. So far no problem, of there was it isn't my problem. As for x rays, why should I care, they aren't a secure issue
