    @Mascara^Snake has just asked a question as to whether site admin can see private messages etc on the site. The answer is yes.

    As with pretty much all membership sites throughout the internet the owner/admin can access everything on the site.

    Because I run sites I thought this was common knowledge, it seems not.

    Please be aware that this can happen, although it mostly doesn't - every site you are a member of will have this kind of access.

    As I am sure you have been told many times before - nothing is private on the internet.

    That's actually not true, it's only possible if an add-on is installed to enable it. We don't have the add-on and only jens has the ability to add it.
