    I've been wearing a Lori 2a for the past few years...I love it. It fits well and is comfortable. It weighs about 225grams.
    Recently though we have considered that a titanium device would be even more comfortable and the weight differential would make a difference. I have a looker 01 titanium on order.
    It's love to hear from others who've gone from stainless steel to titanium...did you notice much difference?

    I went from a steel mature metal Jailbird to a titanium Looked 1 recently. Yes, when holding in your hand, you can definitely feel the difference. When it’s on and you are unsupported, say in the shower, you can tell the difference too. But if you are wearing briefs or pants that provide some support to your cage, it is hard to tell the difference, to be honest.

    No doubt I love my Looker 1, and very glad it’s the lighter weight Titanium. But it’s the design that is primary attraction for me.

    Thanks. @BarbCD Yes, it's at times without briefs and panties that I'm anticipating enjoying the lightness alot. Plus I really do like the design too.
    Another thing is the lock and key. The Lori proprietary key/lock does make me nervous and besides it's impossible to hang that key on a chain... Which my lady would like to sometimes do

    I wear a titanium Desire made by Gerecke, Germany. We have a quite similar model in stainless steel and yes, you feel the difference, holding these two in your hands. The titanium device weights about the half of the other.

    Something else to consider: the titanium is much more skin friendlier than the stainless steel!

    @rainer010 thanks. I hadn't considered the skin-
    friendliness of it. Can you expand on this a little please.

    @MrFlashKat

    Well, first, the stainless steel sometimes contains nickel, which could irritate the skin.

    Second, the stainless steel devices come with a polished surface, which is fine too look at but it tends to stick to the skin. The titanium device we own/use is somehow polished too, but also a little brushed, which i think is the usual surface of titanium (but i'm not a metallurgist). On the first sight i thought, that that would cause me some pain, but i think, that the opposite is true. Difficult to explan, sorry...

    In my experience, the smooth polished surface of my MM Jailbird is very skin friendly. I’ve not had any “sticking” and it slides slightly over the skin even without moisturizer.

    Same with the titanium. But I agree that the titanium is a different color, I’d say a slightly darker, somewhat less shiny with slight blue undertones. Very nice looking, but Ti natural state is different than stainless.

    I’ve not noticed any difference on my skin between the two. YMMV of course.

    That's interesting. @BarbCD I would usually have agreed with you however I have actually had some skin issues recently with the stainless steel device and my skin.
    I am uncircumcised and normally wear my cage with my foreskin forward. However my KH recently instructed me to place the cage on with foreskin retracted... This creates WAY more stimulation for me ... I am in a near constant state of arousal, swelling in my cage....and funnily enough after a few days of this the cage sticking to the skin did cause some discomfort. So it will be interesting to see if the titanium cage will impact in the same way.

    I hope not because it's such a delicious torture.

    Small update: i recieved my titanium Looker01. Just as expected, its a wonderfully crafted device. The polished surface of the A-ring is a little bit stickier than the no-polished Derecke Desire. In comparison is the Looker01 more complete, much nicer.

    Attached a pic of both of them. Gerecke Desire at the top, Steelworxx Looker01 at the bottom.

    Nice. Mine has been shipped. Can't wait to get it. Can I ask how long shipping took for yours?

    I have devices from Steelworxx in both steel and titanium. Haven’t noticed any difference in feel/stickiness. Clearly the titanium is lighter, you notice less that you’re wearing it.

    Update

    I received my device in the second week of March. Shipping took almost 6 weeks. Worth the wait. Perfect size and fits pain free. Worth the cost.
