    It has now been announced that if you are engaged in an activity that the powers that be do not approve of, even if on another site, you are subject to disciplinary action. This has been announced in a thread closed to replies, because dissenting opinions are strictly verboten!

    I expect this thread will find me labeled a 'troublemaker' and 'complainer' before it's locked and/or deleted, as usual. Any deviation from the facade that we're all one big happy family (whether this site or certain countries around the world) is often met with scorn by those who might question the leader's decisions.

    But before the mud starts, I would ask the rank and file to consider how this would be any different if it were expanded to include expression of political or other ideas. "If I find you support a certain candidate or belong to a particular party, I may delete you from this site!". "If I find you're not Green enough"; "If I don't like the same kind of food you do"; "I didn't like a joke you made"; "If someone reports something from your Facebook page, or Twitter feed, or a post you made five years ago in another forum, etc., you're out!".

    Some of you reading this may think I'm just being picky. Am I? Or is it the idea that whatever activity you are engaged in ***somewhere other than CM*** should have an effect on your membership here is 'being picky' instead? What someone does on another site is up to the person running that site, not the admin here. Let's flip the question around - If I'm a member on "Fred's Forum" and Fred finds out I'm a member on a chastity forum as well, does he have the right to delete my membership on his forum, even if I never mention chastity in any way, shape or form?

    You could argue that Fred can run his forum any way he sees fit, and that's certainly true, just as it is here. But that doesn't mean it's right. Would you sign up for a forum if it was spelled out in advance, "If you engage in an activity I don't approve of elsewhere online, you can't be a member here", would you sign up? It remains to be seen if our keepers here will bother to let prospective new members know that or not. And of course, certain brown-nosing former mods will indeed start (or continue) witch hunting, despite Admin requesting otherwise. The interesting question is, once they start digging up dirt on members, will he ignore it or not? No prize for guessing correctly.

    Every club has rules. There is no mission creep in the rule you are referencing and I do not see there ever being any. If things got silly like you describe, people being banned because of the food they eat or the way they vote, then the site would collapse.

    I have no problem with this particular rule. I think that it is fair, clearly made and does not strike me as being outrageous.

    What are you referring to?

    The only issues recently are wishlists being published on CM.
    You can do what you want on other websites.

    I can't say I have any interest in it generally. Fools and their money are easily parted as they say.

    What I don't like is the link it has with blackmail - blackmail is inherently a bad activity and is rightfully illegal.

    In my opinion we are a chastity website not a findomme website.
    There is plenty of findomme on twitter and other sites, it's easy for people to go there to get their kick.

    Or they could even try donating that money to charity. It might make them feel good to.

    Of course repression of free expression should NOT be condoned. Still, it would be useful to provide a link of what the OP was referring to so that we can read and interpret ourselves.

    I knew that my policy :that outside activities could lead to banning would create some noise.
    But I thought about it a lot. And I stand firm on my decision. If a member here on CM is involved in findom some place else - there is no chance in hell that this member can separate that approach from the membership on CM. I am not THAT stupid. It is very easy to get members attention in here and divert them to other places on the internet. This is one big thing, and it does not make any sense to present it as separate worlds....

    And I WILL fight findom here on CM.

    If You want to be involved in findom, go some place else. I can't save the world from it.
    BUT: You can not at the same time be a member on CM and be involved in findom. Simple as that. If You get "caught", of course....
    We have had very few of these incidents so far, so lets keep things in perspective, and not start a witch hunt for findommes. But please report to me If You get knowledge of such Activities that could have an impact on CM Members. Thanks:)


    And all of Billus's accusations and bad mouthing will have to stop. It is perfectly OK that you do not approve, but to smear people like that, will have to stop, - or I will make it stop. Is that understood?

    I think it only fair that CM members should be thoroughly investigated with regard to any other online activity.
    They should be followed and scrutinized and judged accordingly.
    Furthermore I think that if anyone disagrees with this policy then steps should be taken to ensure that they are forced to stop disagreeing.

    I get your point Billus - it can be seen as being just a bit too 'big-brother' - but actually, you're comparing apples with other things, and this rule just focuses on apples.
    Except in this case it's findom, and findommers are not welcome on CM.

    And You certainly can. In fact you can buy some very nice flowers and soap and stay clear of the 50£ limit , a limit only set to prevent exploitation, no matter if it is consensual or not...

    I take it that as a prelude from today's posting that people like myself who post on here regarding the products we make will be excluded in future under "Advertising Rules" or that's how I interpreted it. Like you with this forum, I produce a high quality bespoke product that probably costs me money to make and support a life style.
    It takes me 40+ hours to make a Ti-600 + material cost and I charge £425, which I admit is not cheap, my time alone at the current UK minimum wage of £7.20 is £288 + the cost of electric and materials, my current stock of Ti stands me at about £3500, my workshop @ £10,000 + constant investment in tooling.

    A standard 40 hr job through my machine shop would realise £1000, I think that puts it into perspective !!!
