We are more 'natural fibre' kind of people - cotton, bamboo, hemp - so PVC & latex are out. She has some leather but its not necessarily for the 'Working Domme'. I like the look & feel of some Lycra type fabrics, but she doesn't.

Earlier on, costuming played more a part - but now that we are in our 50's, we are more interested in the lifestyle than the garb.

I suppose, I have always been more of a 'girl next door' kind of guy when it comes to 'appearance' - and so is she.

 

I agree with an earlier poster that the caption images tend to portray a fantasy of what someone wants chastity to be rather than the reality. I see them on Tumblr and they do absolutely nothing for me whatsoever. Many of them contain spelling and grammatical errors which just wind me up.

I would offer that if the goal is to avoid promoting a 'fantasy'... Well, 90% of captioned chastity photos fall into that category, regardless of clothing. The textual content of the photos I've seen posted largely do not reflect intelligence or reality.

Most captioned chastity photos are horribly cliché and as Jasmic said, riddled with grammatical errors and typos. Which, to Me, is a huge turn-off. Most of them look like the author was typing with one hand...

If captioned photos must be a 'thing' for CM's social networking... and promotion of reality is important... why not ask for some content submissions here, from those of us 'in the life'?

 

I'll take it either way but it seems while in chastity my mindset changes and the vanilla look is nice while before chasety it seemed the high heels and leather were a necessary part to produce that dominate feeling from my Queen.

I'm not sure why it seems you're choosing to take that remark personally, because nowhere in My post did I imply that you were out of touch with chastity.

To be clear, My point was about the authors of most captioned chastity photos. I would wager that the vast majority of those authors are fantasists. I imagine many active members here are not fantasists, hence My suggestion.

 

That's why I don't bother with photos of people I don't know, don't like to see them, tell nothing to me.
If they are fantasies or not, is not of my concern, and if they are fantasies, what's wrong with it? Certainly many like to see fantasies and get aroused by them, so for me they can be as they are. I don't see the point of spoiling the pleasure of those who like those photos that way.

Personally, I despise caption photos. In the groups and forums and such I'd pop into, there was a bit of trans or sissy talk and the caption pics were fantasy fulfillment with the picture being taken totally out of context and sometimes not even reflecting the caption at all. What really irked me were pictures of cis female porn stars with sissy captions plastered around them. Very tacky

In answer to the orginal question.
Would you rather have your key held by a girl next door type or a kinky dominant woman?

First and foremost I'd much rather it be someone I care about that I'm in a relationship with that is enjoying the control having the key gives her..

What is the purpose of the twitter page? Who is the audience?

Having had a look at the twitter page, in my humble opinion, just because the women in the pics are not in leather doesn’t mean they are vanilla. Many of the women in the pics on the twitter page look very sexy and dominant. Most of the women in the pics look anything but vanilla!!


As others have suggested, maybe the women in the pics are a bit on the young side. That might be appropriate if that matches the demographics of the people you are trying to connect with via twitter. However, as Thatgirl said

This pic is currently tied to the top of the twitter page! No offence meant to anyone, but WTF!! Who are you trying to attract and what is the message you are trying to send?

Maybe there is a need to work with someone who does captioning to get a more appropriate match between the images and the caption. Maybe @Prandtl is a potential candidate.

On the positive side, there are many other pics that, to me at least, portray a more accurate view of chastity (from the message point of view), for example:

 

Associating chastity with being drugged is humour. WTF That is a very interesting view of humour. Well each to their own I guess.

I was actually thinking that there is a thread on here about hot things your keyholder has said. That could be the source of some more realistic captions.

 

I like the variety of the captions. Some funny, some mildly threatening, some informative, some simply erotic.

 

I must confess I don't go for captions very much as a whole as I find them usually very 'samey'. But there are exceptions, one of which(sort of) is now my avatar and another I copied into my album. And I also really like the top one quoted by @Pbare (even if he doesn't) and which Lucy described as 'humour'. I'm definitely with Lucy on that one. Though I certainly wouldn't class the lady in that pic as being a vanilla KH - quite the reverse: implication being she's probably drugged him already so when he wakes up....
And I think this goes for a lot of the other captioned pix as well. I think a lot of the captioned pix, including that one, represent fantasies (mainly though not exclusively male ones). But nothing wrong with that whatsoever. And it's not unknown for what once had been a fantasy to become a reality later down the line: the old BCWYWF situation.

 

The drugged one is just fantasy as are most captions. Forced chastity is a common theme that gets some guys off just as with women there are rape fantasies. No-one is condoning either as its just fantasy and should be taken as such.

Might seem like a cop out but I think I would enjoy having the key held by either type. Although as others have pointed out, the line between both can often be blurred anyway. I think once a woman is holding the keys to your cage that makes her dominant regardless of how she dresses.
