Thanks. I always thought 1 bar = 1 atmosphere which I thought was approx 30 psi. I guess I’m off by a factor of 2.

Still, 200+ bar is some wild pressure!

150psi in a bike tyre is a hell of a pressure though; what sort of tyre?

A 700 x 23 Continental “Gatorskin”. My frame won’t allow a wider tire in the rear. An old titanium race frame.

You guessed right. A 25mm will rub the seat tube. Grrrr. And I SHOULD be running a 28.

We COULD have filled our tires with natural gas!

i had that once on a ridley frame, i think made in about 2008. 25mm panaracers jammed solid on the inside of the fork crown; they were not too wide but too tall.
i suspect we've gone a bit off topic...

Depends on the tyre. The big apple for example is ridden with only 2 bars. While my usual tyre is filled up to 4.5 bars. Roadrunners have up to 10.

Lol. That’s why I figured if we filled them with natural gas.....

So back to topic: The more this “accident” gets examined, the more I think USA did it. And the more pissed the world ought to be.

Keep in mind, I’ve NEVER felt this way about my country.

It is clear now ( since the beginning) that it has not been an accident.

Everybody knows what crazy things your "country", my country and others did.
It is disgusting to talk about democracy and human rights in the same breath.

But as we all know the most people on this world are kind people, just want to live their lives, want a little bit of prosperity and thats it.
The government is not the people. That is every where the same.

    Time to stand up.

Gas Starts Flowing To Poland Via New Baltic Pipe From Norway
Natural gas started flowing to Poland through the new Baltic Pipe pipeline from Norway via the Baltic Sea on the morning of Oct. 1, Polish gas pipeline operator Gaz-System said.
    89A6C26A-B84D-4D99-8734-7AA9A9F6A8C0.png
Russia cut gas supplies to Poland in April when it refused to pay in rubles. Talk about timing .... Baltic Pipe was officially inaugurated a day after leaks were detected in the subsea Nord Stream gas pipelines linking Russia to Europe.

Not even a James Bond movie compressing time into a two hour film could have writtten this.

One has to wonder when the European citizens will go nuts at being used as pawns.

And same goes for Americans. When will we get sick of being lied to and used?

    Covid showed us - never.
It has to get to where it is worse to NOT "do something" than to stay and pray for better - and even then, only about 3% of the population would do ANYTHING. (Effective or not.)

"Poland Formally Demands $1.3 Trillion In Reparations From Germany For WWII Damages"

"Germany has already rejected any claim that it owes reparations to Poland. It has pointed to the 1953 agreement with Poland’s then communist rulers, who relinquished all reparation demands..."

I didn't read the article, simply noted the headline, which I have seen before.

The polish government always forgets this
Everytime a new parliament is elected they come woth this and everytime the answer is the same "No! We had an agreement many years before. No depts anymore."
And those idiots always forget their economical rise due to EU Finances all the years which are mostly held by German taxpayers.
And they always forget that they already got the eastern german parts Schlesien and Pommern as a form of reparation.
They are impolite, they are selfish only cpunt money but dont play within the EU - they want to have their own eastern Visegrad group payd by EU.

And this PIS is a fascist nazi party that stands against everything that is liberal.
The people there is very easy to manipulate.

So maybe you are right it has been Poland.

A couple insightful yet unpleasant articles concerning energy.

I don't know how much people in the US know about how our policies are adversely affecting people in Europe and elsewhere. I don't watch MSM but gather they have been pro Ukraine at all costs. We in the US are not exposed to the consequences of our foreign policy unless you serve in combat zones overseas.

We may have democracy, but politicians seldom listen to ask their constituents what they would like to occur, while providing accurate details. They use opinion polls to control public opinion, not measure it.

"OPEC's Action Is Testimony To A Staggering US Geopolitical And Geoeconomic Error"

OPEC Humiliates President Biden On A Global Stage

Which as mentioned in above articles:

As Biden Welcomes Venezuela Oil, He Prepares To Block All US Offshore Drilling

The question is, who is ‚we‘.
And my answer to the energy problem is simple:
Either we are becoming more clever or we are becoming much lesser.
The planet will take care of this problem easily.
In Germany there is a joke: two planets are meeting each other, one asks the other“ how are you?“ he replies“ bad, I got men“ „Oh don’t worry, this will disappear by its own“.

Hi Good. Always a fair question when we poke a finger as I did. I say “We” at the moment is Europe and Canada and the USA right now. Australia and New Zealand maybe, but I’m not watching them.

USA has shut down most of its oil capacity and is now sucking Venezuela’s cock for oil.

How can that be “good for the environment”?

Likely no one laughing harder than China these days.

Germany Needs To Slash Natural Gas Consumption To Avoid A Winter Emergency

    1. Last week, the natural gas consumption of German households and small businesses was 10% above the four-year average for that week.
    2. The Federal Network Agency, Bundesnetzagentur is once again warning that the country needs to reduce its natural gas consumption by 20%.
    3. Without a significant reduction in savings, it will be difficult for Germany to avoid a natural gas shortage this winter.
I thought all of Europe was prepared to make extreme sacrifices for the sake of Ukraine. /s

Are Germans perhaps expressing their displeasure with government action and policy with their thermostats?

No it was just really cold for this time and raining for about 2 weeks almost constantly.
We had about 4 degrees celsius in the morning, which is really fresh for end of september.
You have the option to let your house get fungy or heat it.
We have chosen the antifungy method.
We reduced the temperature in the rooms to about 17 degrees. In the living room we heated up with wood, which is really relaxing.

And these politicians can kiss my sissy ass. They should reactivate the coal reserve and nuclear plants instead of using gas for producing electricity.

And no! It is only the politicians and media which tell that we are willing to take sacrifices for ukraine. I know these posts from twitter. Just polemic.

    Stupid green dumbasses.
