Update The Kinky room is no longer

As a long time veteran of online groups, I find this both predictable and hilarious.

"Thread drift" is inevitable, and people are strange. If you want a group for kinky discussion, you have to tell them that only vanilla topics are allowed.

 

Chat rooms in general are usually uninteresting. They're often like the old telephone chats you'd call to meet "sexy single ladies"; twenty to thirty horny guys all listening in and not participating, waiting for a woman, any woman, to show up. Or a chat room dedicated to "middle-aged guys pretending to be choirboys waiting for female priests to 'defrock' them" - you'd pop in just to see what's going on and find one guy sitting there who leaves the instant you say 'hello' to him. Ho-hum.

 

Sounds good to me.

 

Yes, lack of conversation is a killer. I think that's why kinky room often became something else. There would be a fair amount of regular, friendly chatter among those that knew each other as well as talk about kinks.

 

That’s a shame, but I understand. It is a bit awkward to try to contribute something about your newest satin & lace undies or the wife’s gift to you of your newest silicone lover when the conversation is about someone’s doctor visit.

 

True the conversations were sometimes on the vanilla side but most of us went there because of the requirement to keep the General Chat room somewhat vanilla and we are not into the sissy/crossdressing scene.

Actually, I liked your idea of only one room, or perhaps one room plus an extreme room.

 

I was going by past experience. Many time members were told to keep it fairly clean in the General room because non-members could view it. If only lengthy sissy/crossdressing discussions are restricted there should be few problems.

Because of the world wide spread of members the chat rooms are always hit and miss but i have had some great chats at times. Since so many are feminized to some extent mentions on the subject are still bound to come up at times. Hopefully long discussions will go to the appropriate room as you have asked.

I feel it really does not matter how many rooms there are for how many different chats. because in the end, it becomes nothing but clicks with people not even chatting in the room or only PVT chat. I love the site but do not really come here anymore for the chat. I believe Mistress Lucy has done a wonderful job with this site and is always trying to make it better for all, this is just my personnel opinion Thank you
