    Hi everyone
So if you have seen the i'm screwed thread you know I have been trapped in a titanium chastity device for the past few months. Well Mina has decided to allow me to try to escape.

    So here comes attempt #1.

The security bit has been set in thickened epoxy in the stripped screw and held in place with electrical tape. The epoxy has a 24 hour cure time for full strength.

Now we wait. Maybe I will get out or just be stuck in a lifetime of chastity.

Well, you didn't rush into trying to get the stripped screw out!

    I wonder what will happen...

    Failure!!!
With the high moisture in the area the epoxy did not cure properly.

I can not believe you're still stuck in it. I would be going absolutely out of my mind by now.

Are you at least able to release (one way or another) with it on?

Your situation is legitimately giving me nightmares.

@Love&Passion - Being calmer than me certainly isn't saying much. I'm not exactly the stoic type ;)

I remember reading the original thread on this and thinking that I would be able to focus on nothing else at all until I had figured out how to remove that screw! And here we are MONTHS later?! gives me the willies!

(I still think that that is THE coolest chastity device I've seen though. Hopefully it doesn't need to be destroyed).

Have you thought of slipping a strip of metal under the screws location as an added protection and then very carefully drilling the center of the locking screw a little at a time in order to then use a left handed extractor tool to remove the existing screw. It is do-able you would just need to be very careful with the drill hence the strip of metal underneath. Good luck.

Probably lucky the epoxy didn't set, it might have set the screw in place even more

I probably would have used a little bit of JB weld. I used it to patch a small hole in my metal sprinkler lines while water was flowing through it, plus it dries enough to put pressure or torque on in a couple hours. Maybe next attempt?

LOL ... you know that moisture does not affect epoxy right ... now oil or the like yes ... but not water ... I literally dip my finger in water to smooth out epoxy and have it not stick to my finger or affect the cure.

And JB weld is just epoxy with different thickeners in it and some versions have metal filler.

@danleft1 there are many formulations for epoxy. Many will not cure properly in high humidity environments or under water. There are others that are formulated so that they will. As you said oils can inhibit curing as well as many other chemicals e.g. Acetone. Jb weld is not appropriate for most applications that I use epoxy in so I do not keep it around the house.

Just to be clear ... the LOL was because you are still "stuck".

As far as the water and epoxy goes ... I use Urethane Resin and 3 different versions of Epoxy Resin (different companies and different purposes) ... Urethane Resin is extremely water sensitive ... but none of the Epoxy resins are in any way water sensitive. So while I can definitely imagine there are versions that are sensitive to water (like UV Cure) it seems that the vast majority of "common" 2 part epoxy resin is not. So my statement was strictly about 2 part epoxy, which I guess needed to be clarified better ... and well I live in the south, it is humid all the time all year long ...
