    This is a newly made full belt by 3D print.

    Very comfortable during many days wearing, and secure.

    I have tried My-Steel, BehindBarz, etc, none can be compared with this design.

    And the best thing is, the 3D print belt uses no metal at all, so no worries about airport security check any more.

    Interesting design. Would also like to see photos of it being worn. If lock is in back, is it adjustable that way?

    I am a just a customer. It is designed and made by an individual. The material is ABS M30i, so the cage and belt are made thicker to prevent the break.

    It can not be adjusted much (well, can only be loosen a little about 4-10mm by a wider lock)

    Definitely would like to know more and if it is generally for sale - something which seems to offer steel, full belt security but in a non metal package would be very useful at times.

    I've been designing devices and contemplating the challenges of a full belt.

    This seems to answer all of them in a fell swoop, it's such a cool design.

    Who made it? I'm also curious to know how it fastens.

    It is interesting, the back straps look like they are a different material than the front and waist band. The straps look like they are printed PETG on a FDM printer, and the rest looks like it used a different printer altogether because there is no layer lines.

    on the front warn shot you can see some texture in tht top left... looks like FDM texture.
    but that said it would need to be a big print area to achieve that.
    Much more likely to be a powder/laser cure system I woudl think

    I didn't notice those layer lines before, but they are definitely there.

    That printer must have a massive build plate. I also can't imagine the mess of supports that it would have needed being that I dont see a flat surface anywhere.

    ABS can be vapor smoothed by acetone vapor and makes layer lines disappear. You can also anneal it in an oven while it’s packed in powdered salt if you use 100% infill. ABS is trickier to work with due to toxic fumes and hot, dry enclosure needed for optimal results, but is an all around better plastic. Nylon is still superior for this application but most home printers can’t use it.

    Many plastics can be printed/extruded flat then warmed up and reshaped. I use PVC often this way. I cut a PVC pipe, heat to 350f and put it in a press. Cools into whatever shape you press or bend it in to.

    Having designed and printed my own cages on my home machine, I did not think a full belt was achievable. The one shown here is brilliant, really looks the part, would like to try something like this. Some of the commercial printers offering laser melting can do objects this large and the joy of the laser melting is you do not need supports as the powder bed provides the support. Mind you it would be quite expensive. I await any further details that you wish to post.
