It depends on what you mean by worship. The pornographic depictions are often quite ridiculous (at least for me). A well executed massage feels great. I know a lot of women who enjoy them. I don't think I have ever been with one that didn't. Heck, I enjoy them (having my feet massaged). Sure, some women are apprehensive about the idea, especially if they're ticklish (and they might be self conscious about the odor).
