I guess that by now everyone has heard of the Anti-Male Masturbation bill Representative Jessica Farrar, D-Houston, filed on Friday before the Texas House of Representatives that would fine men $100 “for masturbating unless they are doing it in a sanctioned session”.

The Houston lawmaker declared her bill “relating to the regulation of men's health and safety; creating a civil penalty for unregulated masturbatory emissions” is intended to raise awareness and make people stop and think. While satirical in intent, she may have inadvertently stumbled onto something as that bill comes closest to support our life choices towards our “health and safety”.
Somehow I wonder whether the Chastity Mansion shouldn’t come with some kind of an official endorsement. I’d also favor an addendum providing for the reimbursement of chastity cages by health insurers (it'd sure be cheaper than those ED meds).
    What do you think?

920x920.jpg Mod note: This thread has been reported as irrelevant. As it does not relate to chastity at all, but is just an off topic post, it has been moved to the Bar.

A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the regulation of men's health and safety; creating a civil penalty for unregulated masturbatory emissions.

An interesting approach to women's rights. I read a few articles about the bill. One guy was aboviously worried about his right to masturbate as he tried to mock Farrah's understanding of human biology. I liked the bit in the bill about giving the doctors the right to refuse to carry out a vasectomy if it went against their religious beliefs.

Is this really where we have got to in the 21st century?

It is very definitely a tongue in cheek proposal with a serious message. All of the stated aims of the bill mirror similar laws passed over women and the control they have on their reproductive organs.

It's stupid - abortion kills the baby AFTER they are conceived. There is no baby before conception.

I am torn over this bill. On one hand I love the sarcastic and dry humor. Mocking someone while at the same time asking for them to be self aware of their beliefs and how it affects others.

On the other hand, I think it's a disgrace that a public servant wasted not only her time , but other lawmakers time for even a second to go through it.

As for chastity, i think that it would have been perfect to write an attachment to the bill about chastity devices and the mandatory wearing of them. No it wouldn't be accepted either but it might have gotten more people aware of their existence. I think once people actually knew it was possible, it would be brought up more not just by men, but women as well.

I am literally having an argument with myself, telling me to step away from the keyboard, go and have a nice cup of tea and ignore such an idiotic troll.

    But I can't.

The Mansion is a place that values free speech. It sometimes struggles with what that means, but usually people do their best to allow all to have their say. The worst times are when you get someone who is so rigid in their thinking they utterly refuse to see anything from another's perspective.

I just did a bit of research, to try and see where you would get such a small minded view as that. My guess is you are American and a Republican. I might be wrong, but the way that Liberalism has been taken in America seems to make my guess that is probable. You could be British, the Liberal party collapsed after getting into bed with the Conservative party and is very unpopular right now, but I doubt someone from Britain would go as far as saying that Liberalism is a mental disorder, and not bother to back up their statement.

I could go on, and talk about how Liberalism was founded on the ideals of liberty and equality, but I suppose talking to myself is not going to help, most trolls just end up sounding like they are going dur dur dur to me.

The bill is not a serious attempt to make masturbation illegal. It is making a statement that masturbation is not much different than abortion in that it destroys life. No need for anyone to support it. It is not a real attempt to make masturbation illegal and if it were, not a good idea to have this forum support it. My monthly releases are often done by either me masturbating, or my wife doing it for me. It would mean no more ruined orgasms either. If spilling one's seed for non reproductive reasons were to be illegal that means that we are all limited to intercourse during a woman's fertile days only. Guys who self lock, which seems to be the majority on Fetlife, would not have anyway to relieve themselves.

Many religions consider masturbation to be a sin. It is a carryover from ancient times when it was thought that men had a limited amount of sperm. If you are for a ban on non life producing sex, become very religious. :)

A joke in reality, as jasmic68 stated, politics here are no bueno! We all have our opinions on life. Keep the Mansion a place we all can get a break from the constant floundering. But it could be another good erotic fiction piece. Many similar have been done. See "chastitiy in 2035" on Literotica. It's straight from my brain so I don't have a link but search if interested. Either way, thanks to all whom keep it real here. Go Cm!

I saw this piece on the web chatter when it was first introduced and think it's hilarious! Good on her - it's only at least as ridiculous an idea as many other legislation a afoot currently in the US. And great that is from a woman but is about controlling men's activities and their bodies. Now where else have we seen that happen....hmmm, no I can't remember!

Can I ask that we keep the trolling to a passable minimum, and our responses to it the same?
Generally it's best to keep religion and politics out of CM, but this is not only relevant but comedic too.

Since when has masturbation become something you do in public. Do they have bars in Texas were you go after work to masturbate with the boys before you go home. What has this world cum to

Dude, you don't have those bars in your town? They're everywhere. I think Texas got them late though, like in 2015.
It started with the hipsters but even the rednecks are gettin in on it now.
