Tethered Male Chastity - has anyone tried this?

Your living it? Is it uncomfortable? I read about it because my husband mentioned a piercing and I vetoed that. He says it's easy to get out when he's limp. It's a real problem if he thinks he can get out. I have been looking for a pierce less solution. Can you tell me if it hurts and does it work? How long can you wear it for? Is it pretty much escape proof ( for normal day to day) I really don't like to have my husband in a lock if he can just get out any time.

 

With a properly sized cage, it is painless. I currently use it with a Male Chastity Now Contender and I frequently wear it with no unlocking whatsoever for a week at a time. I have done a couple of 2 week long stints as well. The length of my lockups has little to do with the TetherSpouts by the way. Instead, it mostly depends on the frequency of unchaste activities that require an untethered penis
On the other hand, I have had less success with my Mature Metal Watchful Mistress which is about 1/2" too long, and the resulting quasi-constant tug would get annoying at times .
The other bit of discomfort I have experienced came from the vinyl cap I have used in the past to cover the spout (visible in some of my gallery pictures). It would sometimes rub or pinch my meatus. I don't use that anymore as I have found a better way to plug the spout (but I have not gotten around to document that on the blog yet).

It is escape proof in the same way a PA piercing is. Sure, one could destroy the locking wire with wire cutters, but then it would only take slightly bigger cutters to cut the padlock hasp, so that's not really a consideration.

 

The only thing with that Web site is be careful what you click on . It's nothing bad just very big files lots photos and I think , very repetitive writing.

I just want to give a massive shout out to you, @zorglub for your fantastic blog. I love the idea of the tetherspout, but was scared as hell to try it! Although I'm happy with a 7mm sound, the idea of pushing something small into my urethra and it getting stuck and having to go to the A+E / Emergency room for an embarrassing chat would make me want to just die.

I might wanna but one now...

 

The promise of pierceless escape proof chastity is too good not to look into. The idea that my husband can just back out of his device easily ruins the entire idea of chastity. I have to look into this! Thanks so much for your careful detailed notes on your blog! This will be so helpful!

 

What is the Better way you mentioned?

 

Basically I made cylindrical silicone plug with a bit of a taper at the front. The material is flexible enough to compress around the wire hook part at the front of the spout so it can be pushed in far enough to fully obstruct the tube. It is easy to pull out for urination and slide back in afterwards.

Without plug, the spout leaves the urethra well open so I have experienced some residual drops after urination and also, longer term, seepage of pre-seminal fluid (apparently, secreting that spontaneously is not uncommon after a few days in chastity). One way to take care of this is to stick a half panty liner (e.g. Poise microliner) in the right place in my briefs, but I prefer to just plug the spout if possible to avoid dryness (I live in Phoenix AZ) as well as prevent impurities (e.g. lint, pool water...) from going up in there.

 

Amazing. I saw your a engineer. Have you looked at shape ways the 3D printing website? My husband said he wanted to design and post a chastity device there. Apparently anyone can post 3D plans there and make money when anyone orders a device! They print in all kinds of stuff, titanium, and even gold. I wanted a device that was made with tethering in mind, and that would just come off completely when the lock is removed. It's so difficult to take it all off in a hurry which makes access to my "toy" take a while. This means I often just skip it. It would be nice if it all came off easily and fully.

You might even make a custom cap or insert there. A gold one might be nice. I saw you can put attachments on the teather inserts. They had magnet ones. I wonder if you could make a nice device built for tethering that would also allow you to attach a dildo easily or a vibrator. It would be awesome to fuck my hubby while he still had his cage on. I looked for a cage like that. A extender would be nice to. I would love to have that option. Some sort of snap on or quick to put over his cage. I would like to see the look in his eyes while he was locked up but still fucking me. That would be quite a turn on.

 

Since you are an engineer I bet you could make a great one and if someone ordered one you would make money everytime.

 

They have a chastity device on the site now. I don't like the looks of it. Couldn't they design a pretty one in stead of a industrial one. I would like to have the option to have my name on it too. (It belongs to me after all)

 

I haven't looked into 3D printing yet. I'm still tinkering with locking methods, etc... I have access to machining tools (lathe, mill) and welder so that's what I am using at the moment (and part of the fun is learning how to use those tools. It is a new thing for me as my specialty is computer software and electronics).

Well, as far as I am concerned that is the major drawback of the TetherSpout approach, compared to a PA piercing that is generally quicker to remove. That's a point I try to address in my "In the heat of the moment" post on the Tethered Chastity blog.

One other project I have is a device without testes ring (i.e. penis tube only) where the lock would be low profile enough that the device would not have to be removed for some penetrative activities

 

I came across this while looking at some of the chastity-themed patents on Google the other other day. Fascinating stuff. The TetherSpout website is truly dreadful though. I spent half an hour reading and was still none the wiser as to what it was all about - yet @zorglub s blog summed it up in about two minutes.

 

@zorglub has a wonderfully ordered mind. He made me understand it all pretty quickly. I really loved reading his very detailed and well thought out blog. I hope he designs a unit on shapeways that I can order because it would likely be very good and superior to what's on the market. He has the unique position of being an end user and a engineer. That's a rare combination.

 

Be careful with 3D printed stuff - it's pretty rough & slightly porous, so it can hold bacteria. The stainless steel stuff rusts really easily too. You might be better off using a service like 3DPrintHubs to look into a local Med610 printer. It's designed for use in dentistry and might be safer.

 

I tried things like this, got pierced, now looking at getting a cage with no ring... no more pinched sack , no more chaffing.. and really really no way to pull out, it turns out piercing was , in the end, the best option.

I am curious why so many owners veto it.. as i see more far more that say no your not piercing than i do say pierce. or is it just a case of the No group are more vocal because they are the ones looking for alternatives ?

 

Since you have obviously not tried anything like a Tetherspout (unlike others non-piercing approaches, that one is just as secure as a piercing, and just as capable of supporting a no-testes-ring cage), so I am not sure what your point is in this thread.

Consider this:
- The PA advocates are plenty vocal. In fact, the approach I experiment with is poo poo'ed mainly by piercing fans. I admit, there are also a few people who like to tell us about their inescapable plain ball-trap device, with the lack of credibility this demonstrates (do these people ever take showers?)
- Some people do not like piercings on themselves or their significant other. Mind you, that does not necessarily mean they look down on people who choose otherwise. it may just mean it turns them off sexually, or some other reason. If they don't judge people who enjoy piercings, then people who like piercings should not judge either.
- Some would like a security solution that does not require waiting months for healing+enlargement to become operational.

For us it is simple, I would get one, BUT my wife does not like the look of a pierced penis ... so no piercing then. Nothing earth shattering just simple opinion, no different then preferring a certain color.

Yes I am using this now. Just ordered the Stainless Steel Retainer after first using the nitrile retainers. Have not used this on my chastity cage yet but I do use it with Prince Albert jewelry. Do not have to have a piercing and everyone who has seem it thinks I am pierced. Still breaking in my penis to the new feel but have had it in 3 days now. Took out the nitrile retainer last night and will be inserting the stainless steel retainer. Love the look and after seeing how many guys have had to constantly get larger gauge jewelry because of stretching the skin I am EXTREMEMLY glad to have found this product.
