    • I never drank much alcohol and I was never the "party" type. I went into the US Army at a young age and spent over a year in Intelligence School. I was then deployed (just one week after finishing training) to Iraq and lived there for quite some time. It was different from how you may imagine a typical soldier. I later continued serving, but in a different capacity than the military. I was able to do things and see things that people only see in movies or pretend to do in video games. That forced me to "grow up". The negative impact I never realized was that when I returned home, I was a totally different person. I had nothing in common with people my age. They all seemed too immature, happily working minimum wage and only cared about drinking/partying. That resulted in me never having any "party years" in my youth and I never drank much alcohol at all. I do drink some now but it's very occasionally.

    • I know George W. Bush. He has a suite (indoor reserved section) at the Texas Rangers ballpark which happens to be next to mine.

    • My name is not Trey Jones

If I would use my academic titles (in abbreviated form) and obtained in different fields of science it would be longer than my name written in full. I never use them however.

You almost made me piss my pants as I laughed so hard :)

But being a vet myself, this makes me really curious as it is even above special forces averages.

I'm jealous. That is awesome. I've spent quite some time between scientists but I have never met anyone who finished reading a "brief history of time". I haven't either

Mingling in foreign politics is tricky, but I would prevent that Hillary would get them at any cost :)

BTW: I liked your post, I'm not sure what goes wrong - I hope it still says I like it.

Sorry if it offended any one. In my defense I just continued the presidential conversation, not started it.

Sorry, but I didn't mean to make any political statements. I was simply responding to the OP with my experience. Others turned it political.

Thank you for making a difference. I don't fight fires but respond as the first one as well. No matter the outcome, CPR is one of the hardest things to do. The emotions are so intense and don't fade away easily. You rock.

Luckily I have only had to do CPR once. Unfortunately is was from a major heart attack and was unable to save him.
I did have to help a friend that suffered from a rollover tractor accident out of a horrible ditch. Those two are ones I will never forget

I don't know if this applies, but I play guitar, lead blues and I get to play with what's called a phallic symbol with my fingers running up and down the neck. My fingers get really nasty.
