    After wearing the small cage on and off, with or without the tube in it. I can honestly say that it's not as comfortable as my slightly longer ones. I hope that my Mistress doesn't want me to wear it all the time. Maybe she'll just have me wear it as a form of punishment, if that's her plan than I better be very careful to not upset her.

    Smaller is exciting but may not always be Better

    I posted a thread a few days ago about getting a 4cm cage. I thought it would be a novelty that we would use for punishment. I was wrong. I'm locked in it from now on. I feel quite emasculated as when I reach down there there's nothing, just a useless metal bump. I'm torn because while it's exciting I also realise that I can't do anything at all and that's scary. I didn't think it would be so different.

    I agree, that it looks good and we should be prepared to suffer to look good as women have always done. However, at least women can take high heels and uncomfortable body shapers off at the end of a night!

    my cage is naturally pretty short, but its not forced, it just fits. I had an extremely short one that if it was just about comfort, would agree to tough out. But comfort with a chastity device usually has to do with physical problems such as chaffing burns, raw spots, and edema etc. All those things lead to more time out of your cage to heal. So fashionable i think takes a back seat to long term viability. Whats the use of a chastity device if it has to be removed for weeks at a time to allow skin to heal?

    So, small as you can, without damage with long term wear is my lowly opinion. It has certainly added more to lock up, when we both know that it never really needs to be removed. She misses our dynamic when i had to leave it off for healing, it seems to put a pause on everything, and her sense of control seems to evaporate.

    Nico, having a very small cage does not necessarily lead to all those detrimental effects you listed.
    There's no reason why a correctly fitting short cage should cause those problems anymore than a correctly fitting longer cage.

    Long cages are just so yesterday. That's all I'm trying to say.

    I agree, actually the most common problem with guys when they first get into this is that their cage is waaay too long. I think most believe that extra room will keep it from causing discomfort when the opposite is usually the case.

    I have been as guilty as the next for also wanting (and buying) a super short cage for the effect of making it immobile, and all sorts of problems arose. So short, but not so short where it is forced...you hit it exactly when you said correctly fitting. Most guys, unsure if they just think they are bigger than they are, or concerned that it won’t have any “room”, pick their first cage or two too long.

    Smaller is exciting for a time and then you actually realize what your left with between your legs. I wear a much shorter new cage these days, and this cage has virtually no extra room at the end. To attempt growth or arousal for enjoyment or erection is certainly wasted energy with this cage. Have to say, I do like it better than any of my other cages though.

    Nico yours is a good example what I would consider to be fashionably short.
    It also looks nicely finished, stylish, secure and hygienic.

    I think a cage that hangs as low as or lower than his balls is just slovenly looking.

    Judging by how many manufacturers are jumping on the locked penis bandwagon I would say you are right but I can see the trend to turn them into torture devices happening already.

    I have to disagree Vinny, I've noticed that there has been a marked decrease in totrure inflicting features.
    I think people are begining to realise that those devices with spikes screws and things are only for play. Not at all practical for extended or full time wear which is now the favoured direction.

    Actually we are still in your day so I have to disagree with you there too.

    I've noticed the same thing. No room for any change in girth for the bit indise the cage there is at times a little growth in length. My in-cage erection is surpressed and controlled I did not hink I'g get on with it but I'd had a worn a plastic HT for a week before I sent for the shorter steel knock off.
    The erection out side the cage but in the body is as strong as ever and perhaps seems larger because it was not the centre of attention before.

    I am a convert though smaller can be better I'm still a believer in all encompassing closed in cages.
    We have plans to get one altered though finding the person to do it is proving hard or ridiculously expensive.

    I've found the smaller you go the more psychologically intense the experience. If you do a progression schedule (smaller cages every week/month whatever) one literally sees and feels one's cock disappearing into a little sensitive bump encased in steel. No more erections, just the arousal and the clench of metal.

    And the capped ones are a mess to urinate in.
