Everyone has to be willing to take their own risks. My wife and I prefer that I be locked 24/7. It wasn't that way at first but the longer we've done this the less I'm unlocked for activities. Best thing is to find a light small comfortable device that you know you can stand long term. I hardly ever notice I'm wearing mine no matter what I'm doing. I also hunt but have not been locked for multi day hunts, I'm not sure if she'll require that or not this year my wife is becoming much more strict. Compared to others I am certainly no long term wearer. It's practically always on, but it does come off to play occasionally.
