Spare Room Make Over Suggestions

Best I can think of right now is to have it set up for sensory deprivation. Completely lightproof, and with fixings for a suspension sack. etc.
Excuses being that previous occupant had a hummock or a small chandelier or etc.

Depends how big your room and budget are though. The above is pretty cheap and simple but could be very effective.

 

Not sure what you guys would use it for, so hard to advise. Many years ago we had these tie down straps that would go under the bed. When you wanted to use them you pulled them out and velcroed them on. I would like that. My wife is a wonderful person, but she is a lazy dominatrix. The idea of breaking out restraints, setting them up or learning to tie a knot isn't going to happen. Some eyebolts in the ceiling for restraints or swings or such would be good too.

 

Eyebolts in the ceiling in a guest room might be going to far. That is unless you strategically place them closse to walls with plants hanging from them that can easily be removed. If someone asked why you used such big hooks you could say a plant fell once and you don't want it to happen again. You may have to water the plants once in awhile or just buy new ones when you have company.

 

You could set the room up as a dungeon like you'want to. When people comment about the room just lock the door and tell them to drop their pants.

Ok maybe that's not a good idea, you might loss some friends but on the bright side I know someone that would want to be your friend.

 

I guess it depends on your budget. Last year we were tinkering with the idea of a secret hidden room, accessible only through our closet.

With it, thoughts of Batman like sliding doors, chairs, tables, and braces, sliding out of walls and floors. Large racks of pain implements all neatly hanging like an arsenal. Automatic lighting, lube warmers, all at the push of a button.

Realistically, having an over the bed rack, that looks like a canopy frame, but slides down to the wall, is as complicated as it will get. We have under the bed restraints that we tuck in, behind the door the paddles and straps are hanging, and the drawer by the bed has the vibes and dildos. Do you know the difference between our room and Christian Grey’s from figty shades?....budget and space lol.

 

If funds permit how about a false studded wall with a pulldown bed complete with fixings etc but a standard pullout sofa bed in front of the wall for guests normal use if visitng. Everything in the drop down bed would be totally secret and out of sight until it was lowered down.

 

My miss and I have a spare room, currently we have stripped it and we are painting it red, and moving some of our toys in there. I have set up anchor points on the floor, one on the wall, and one on the ceiling that will be exposed by popping the cover off of a gutted/ false smoke detector. Wall and floor rings and be removed with a drill quickly if guests were to come over....although to be honest just about every one of her friends knows all about what we do with BDSM/ femdom so we don't have much to hide.

Your whole idea with a drop down bed is quite creative! Would love to see someone take it from fantasy to reality.

 

This is a difficult thing to answer for someone else ... but an idea to make things look "normal" that can have a dual use ... We have a very nice hammock chair that hangs from the ceiling, the bolt that holds it is obviously designed to hold the entire weight of a person, so the bolt can be in the ceiling visible and when company is over we just point to the hammock chair and say it used to be in the room (or actually hang it in the room) ... we move it outside on the enclosed porch in the summer inside in the winter. The funny part is people are so busy sitting in the chair (its very comfortable) that they don't even think of the other uses of the hook in the ceiling.

 

@Mistress Jules you could just go for a nice bondage bed like we have, it looks like a bed but it's easily converted to kink.

A good way to disguise eyebolts in the ceiling is to use ones that can be unscrewed,
then to hide the holes, stick stars/planets/spaceships on them as a decoration.
Stars on the ceiling are also the perfect reason for having a blue or black ceiling.

This type of bed also lends itself to bondage use with no modification.

There was a member here, I can’t remember who right now, used a very clever idea of a false smoke detector that hid an eye hook and winch. I believe he also had a table that with a few adjustments turned into a cross. He had a few more things as well. It wasn’t exactly Batmanish with a flip of a switch everything flipped around, it looked like 20 minutes of prep to get the room set up. It did however look like a very normal bedroom.

 

If you were to look under the mattress in our guest bedroom, you would find a couple of 1/2" ropes with loops tied into the ends. When fully extended, the loops are convenient for hooking leather cuffs to to extend the arms fully apart and similarly, the loops at the foot of the bed are available for clipping the ankle cuffs to. In this way, everything appears perfectly normal, but within a couple of minutes, She can have me hooked up spread eagle style, to do as She pleases. Most of the time, it's for what She calls "Active Persuasion" and sometimes, She simply binds me there and goes on about Her business.

 

I can certainly vouch for this .....................................Hi and fond memories to a wonderful Mistress whose presence here is sadly missed. This item has a very special place in my memories having shared it alongside a very close friend ..............a little too close really! lol

 

It looks like plan B then we will kit out my bedroom here. The hook can go back up for the punch bag.
I am sure we can adapt the multi gym.
