There are spam threads in several forums, not sure how many... all of them have red highlighted hyperlinks in them.
Just report them, and move on...the best way to combat SPAM. If you click on their site , they get the "hit", and they will never stop.
As far as I am aware there is a Captcha style security and also an email confirmation required but still they persist. Just hit the report button and we get them gone as soon as a Mod comes online.
Whenever a Mod comes online and sees any (usually pretty obvious) they get removed asap. Lost track of how many I've wiped!
I can't imagine how boring it must be for the poor souls whose job it is sitting at a computer finding forums to post this nonsense on. They have to hope some idiot clicks on the link and maybe a fraction go all the way and actually give banking details out to the obvious scammers involved. The fact that the language used is so random and ridiculous makes it even more crazy that anyone believes it is real.
The key is "If you see it, Hit 'Report' and report it". The mods will then delete it asap. Let's fight spam together (I should be in politics)
