I'm currently using the short spacer and the #2 ring with my CB-3000, has anyone noticed do the cords tend to shrink some allowing for an even shorter spacer over time? It doesn't appear that they make a shorter one so I'm kinda thinking about shaving it down and trying to put a new hole in one of the spare pins. I'm also close to being able to wear the #3 ring comfortably longer periods of time, but I'm wondering if anyone can do the #4 or #5 comfortably for more than a few hours?

The pins are nylon plastic. Nylon is hydroscopic the reason they are shrinking is they are drying out. Either out in water for a day or two, or boil them for 30 min and they will grow
