Got the vasectomy and produced clear results.

Our experience was pretty unusual: I was snipped very early on in our marriage before having kids. The reason was we were told her having children would be very hard on her body due to a medical condition and we didn't want any accidents. Advances in self-care made it possible to have a reversal and we had two healthy, beautiful children. She was snipped after the second one.

So, yes and no. I will admit when I was snipped as a young man it did have a fairly profound impact on my sexuality and became more of an issue as time went on. No that I am no longer, it is a non-issue though.

 

I got snipped about 6 years ago, about 24 at the time. my then wife was dead set against having kids and the easiest way was for me to get it done. we ended up getting divorced a couple of years later, shes remarried and did end up having a kid. Still haven't gotten it reversed although with the way it was done it would difficult to reverse.

 

I was told by our surgeon that it would be difficult and that success was markedly less due to the length of time since I had mine done and the way the did said on one side. However, after being reattached, no problems. Both impregnation events happened the first month we tried. Good luck.

I was snipped many yrs ago, mutual decision after trouble with her birth control. Geez, I wonder if getting pregnant is a concern when i bring up cuckolding? Hadn't thought of that before...

 

I am having an open ended vasectomy soon. It will involve titanium clips for the top end, and left open on the “upstream end” ( towards the balls.

I have three questions:
1) can you or anyone elaborate more on orchitis from tease and denial? I was told I wouldn’t have to worry about testicular pressure from frequent arousal and avoiding orgasms.

We discussed this directly - I stay in arousal and avoid climax and refractory periods, and we didn’t want to interrupt our happy sex life.

But I never thought the open vasectomy would actually decrease the ache after tease and denial.


2) Does anyone have titanium clips? Can you feel them? Do they affect putting on a ball trap device? Or your ball gap comfort?

I am holding off getting an update to my Contender cage until I heal up and get familiar with my modified anatomy.

3) I thought you really didn’t need to masturbate or ejaculate afterwards. If we waited the 3 months until they die off, I could just wait them out for a successful test sterility.

I am wanting lots of ejaculation beforehand. I’d like to be empty beforehand so I don’t put much spermatic pressure through the cut, open end.

PS.: We playfully discussed keeping me in my GlansArmor2 for the surgery as it only contains my shaft and could be moved out of the way. But we have no intention of that. That’s just silly talk.

 

I was snipped after our forth child but I am not married to her any more. It just made more sense so I offered, day surgery with just a local, I drove myself home, compared to a procedure a woman has to endure.

I didn't know there were different types of snipping, All i know is I had a vasectomy.

After being denied for a long time I can find edging feels like I am getting a cramp and it can be rather unpleasant. I am not sure if that has something to do with the vasectomy, it comes and goes though, and sometimes it doesnt happen. It wouldn't have stopped me from having it done.

Ironically it seems many women eventually prefer to not have men ejaculate inside of them anyway (cant say I really blame them), so when I was married I mostly used condoms anyway (on the rare occasion), still snipping is 100% safe birth control, but I think for many of us the motivation behind getting snipped was to get rid of the condoms.

Even Mistress prefers me to use a cap on the tether spout so ejaculate is almost eliminated, tho that wouldn't work for birth control like the snip.

Snipped over 20 years ago and I had no problems what so ever. I even talked my wife into giving a hand job the evening after surgery just to (make sure everything was still working OK).
I asked the doctor to give me an extra pillow so I could watch the surgery then asked him how I would know if the anesthesia was working before he made the first cut? He took his hemostats and clamped them on my scrotum and asked if i felt anything. When i told him no he said it is working and continued with the vasectomy.

Yes - You'll want to avoid heavy lifting for a while. Essentially anything which could cause a groin strain. I will reassert that a couple of bags of frozen peas are your friend to reduce swelling immediately after surgery. YMMV. -- Give
