Don't know if this is the right place for this post, if not please feel free to move it! I have just posted a reply to MASH 2214 in his "On display 2" and it got me thinking. Basically its to do with the "Shock Horror" type headlines and opinions towards people involved in various "kinks" or as I prefer to call it Lifestyles. I pointed out how people and society react to people, especially those in positions of authority or standing are "branded" if found out. I'm sure we've all heard or been involved in discussions about Doctor X or Councillor Y being caught visiting a Dominatrix or wearing women's clothes and the general outrage and calls for resignation and shaming. I've heard it from people where I work about someone being a pervert for what ever reason (and I mean the "kink" sort, not abuse or anything illegal). Even "being queer", their words not mine, provokes outrage! I often wonder how many of those involved in " mouthing off" have their own little secrets. And as I have sat there hearing about how disgusting all these perverts are I have a little inward smile, with my penis locked in its steel cage. And I think, "I bet I have better and more sex than you". Now I'm not a cross dresser or in to anal sex or whatever but so what! All this talk of diversity, inclusion and tolerance is just bullshit. I agree that we have a moved on (by being forced to) on things like gay and transgender issues but its still pretty much a bigoted society. Funny though how all this "minority" are all pervs, and funny how I believe that "kinky porn" is one of the most viewed things on the internet. I'd love to see the internet search histories of some these loadmouths. And most of them reckon they "pretty broad minded, live and let live" yeah like! Anyway I've had my rant. That's the great thing with this site, all tastes are catered for and not judged. A lot of the lifestyles here are not for me but are still valid and for the people living them very fulfilling. I love being locked in chastity by my wife and enjoy reading about other people's experiences. To be honest its nice having our little secret lifestyle and sharing it in an anonymous way with my friends on CM.
I, of course, agree with you 100%. I am one of those pervs that cross dresses and is locked up, and am also happy to have found fellow travelers here at CM.

I hear what you're saying and I've heard others express outrage at similar things i.e. mens attitude towards women or hostility towards people that are "different". I guess I've seen some of it in very small doses, however for the most part I find it exceptionally rare. One of the things I love about Hawaii is that racially there is no majority. There is also a broad mixture of races and no stigma as there has been (maybe still is) in the rest of the world. I think that acceptance or tolerance extends beyond race and is for the most part creates a fairly accepting society. I was a little shocked at some of the opposition when they legalized same sex marriage here, but it was a very small and vocal minority. For the most part they were people of deep religous faith and so there message was given a respectful hearing. They weren't the angry "God hates fags" crowd. I also think we make fun of ourselves and our differences. That's why I'm not a fan of the movements to try to make language completely inoffensive and devoid of humorous banter about stereotypes.
