So I am new to this and want some advice. I started out with a 2" ring, but my balls pull of this easily. then went to a 1.75" ring. My scrotum feels like it is on fire. Is this normal, or is my ring too small? I mean, like hot poker from the fire in the ball sack pain. can only handle it about 1-2 hours then I have to take it off. doesnt matter if there is a cage, just the ring makes it that painful. If this is the future, not sure it is for me.

We need a bit more detail. Is it a plastic device like a cb6000 or a metal device? Have you put on any lubricant? Are your balls normally high and tight or do they hang loose? Where is the pain? Underneath your balls, around the top or everywhere?

My advice without that information is to apply some non water based lubricant to the base of your balls, pull as much skin as you can through the ring and see if that helps. It does take several weeks for your body to get used to this. In the end I had to ditch my cheap cb6000s knock of and buy a real Holy Trainer. After that the pain mostly went.

I agree. Adding some lube around the base ring should help with this. I experienced the same thing with the few devices I have and it helped a ton. Especially at night time.

OK- pain is under the balls. Mine are usually high and tight. I am using a metal ring, but not a hinged ring(tried on of those, but it pinched the living crap out of my sac!), but have not used lube.

Try some lube. I use Vaseline with a silicone device, not sure how it would work with metal. Hinged rings are indeed nasty!

It sounds like the burning is from the skin being pulled by the ring all the time. It can get pretty unbearable, but the good news is if you lube and pull skin through the ring your balls will loosen up pretty quickly and that particular discomfort will fade.

when I was using a hinged ring device I found some silicone tape at The Hoe Depot and wrapped the hinge with it. Did wonders for comfort, but had to replace the tape every 3-4 days.

I bent the bottom 1/3 of my ring inwards slightly. First night in with the bent ring and it's much improved. Way way less ball bag burn.

Mine only hurt when I tried to get erect though. Hardly feel it when soft.
