Ok so long story short about 3 1/2 months ago me and my wife decided to rivet my chastity and now time has passed and we both want to remove it (ESPECIALLY ME) over 100 days in chastity straight no releases can be tuff! But now the time has come to remove it and I know you are supposed to drill these out but I really want that to be my last option. If anyone has had experience with this before, please leave any advice please. Ive tried to remove but i just can't do it and it's really starting to frustrate me. Thank you to anyone who helps
Solid rivet or cherry? If solid youll have to drill just far enough to cock the drill it to the side and the rivet head pop off if its a cherry rivet the stem in the center will have to be punched out or ground out
Its a cherry rivet, if you could can you please explain to me what I would need remove it and how to remove it
usually you can punch out the steel mushroom pin in the centre, if you can then it makes drilling the softer aluminium tube of the rivet much easier. to get a punch the right size, use the shaft from an identical rivet. (cut the end square if necessary) when drilling, use a drill exactly the same diameter as the main shaft of the rivet. you won't need to go all the way through, just the depth of the head of the rivet, it should fall or snap off easily enough then. using a hand drill is not only safer with the lower speed, but going slower also means that if you're not exactly centre, you can avoid accidentally cutting into your device. if you have a bench vice, or a workmate, then securing the cage steady will make working on it easier.
I would make a support jig first to stop the chastity device from moving from side to side and then use a battery drill at slow speed, all you need is about one millimeter taken off.and remember to take your time.
If you used one of these, you'll have to grind out the stem till the lock ring is gone. Then punch the stem down and drill the head off.
I know it may have seemed thrilling to rivet it closed...but why on earth did you actually do it? Chances are it would need to come off at some time, and removing rivets, drilling, power tools near your privates, all seem like an unnecessary risk. Even if you don’t plan on opening it, you could put a key as inaccessible as you would like. Maybe I’m a stick in the mud, but I wouldn’t want to risk injury or ruining my device to remove it. Surely you thought you might need to remove it at some point before you riveted it closed? Didn’t you have a plan before then?
Drilling is dangerous. Get a good hard file for finishing high Rockwell grade metals and file the head off. It might take you a couple of hours, but it will be safer than drilling.
