    Hello,

Firstly I'm very new to chastity devices, just got my very first cage yesterday. Its a HT v4 knock off standard size. Picked it cause with all my measuring I believe i need a 50 to 55mm ring. The 55mm ring wasn't in the package, I've contacted the seller to see what can be done about that, but since i measured i figured the 50mm was worth a try too.

I struggled to get in it, I'm assuming newbie jitters/excitement. Eventually I was able to figure out how to get the twins in and i was able to work the shaft through. It felt fairly tight but not painful. Other than a rough spot i missed i was feeling ok with the pressure but it reminded me of the same feeling a cock ring gives.

But that's the problem, it acted like a cock ring and i couldn't stop having an erection. Even after 10minutes of waiting it was an unaroused semi hard shaft, think a floppy hot dog/sausage.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just i need to go the next ring up? Any advice will be welcome because I'm very disappointed i couldn't make the 50mm work because that snug fit felt nice, like a warm hug.

    Putty in your hands,
    CuriousTurtle

Doesn’t really matter. I shrink quite a bit during a long shower. Maybe try cold?

Try some ice pack with some cloth insulation.

Update; took a shower to relax myself, then used a cold wash cloth and patience and i was able to much more easily put the ring on. This time i was successful and it was "comfortable" and i lost what little erection i had almost immediately. Thanks for the help and advice everyone. I'm going to wear just the ring for a bit to make sure nothing turns blue.

Yes, Just keep wearing the ring for a while. It may hurt a little when you're erect/aroused but as long as it's comfortable when you're not erect, then when you are wearing the cage if it's sized correctly it will help prevent erections. It's always too arousing when you first wear a cage, the longer you wear it, the more used to it you'll get and the more comfortable it'll be.

The same goes for sleeping through the night. Don't attempt that until you are comfortable at wearing it all day, but even then, it takes a few days or weeks even before your body gets to learn that morning wood isn't an option.

Update for anyone curious, its been almost a month and i have become much more adept getting in and out with out erections happening. I found that with the holy trainer i needed to move down a ring size because now that I'm not aroused there is more room around the ring. It was sliding around to much and causing a rubbing irritation on the scrotum. Wouldn't have thought that i could fit in a smaller ring but I now can and to me that's fascinating.

Over time I dropped 3 ring sizes before settling in.

That's probably typical for most of us.

The excitement of the moment can make it difficult to get in the cage. But once things settle down. Smaller cages and rings are needed for me anyways

And with the turtling issues I need a pretty small cage
