Very well said. Sometimes it's hard to believe that some of the so called subs are actually submissive at all. Personally, I feel that there should be a KEYHOLDER forum where conversations could held without some whining male sub feeling the need to jump in.

I have yet to find a Master or Mistress who is totally dominant just as are there subs who totally give in despite the I am completely sub no limmits posts.

The suggestion was that the site gains something, Que. the sound of toys leaving prams.

Now, without resorting to ridicule, belittling or any other petty device, please tell us why you feel this a bad idea. If you can't do that then we must assume there is no substantive objection.

 

Why does something have to be "a benefit to all the members"? I still don't understand all these objections. In the wider world there are probably plenty of people who would hate a website about chastity, yet here we are, and the world goes on just the same. Scale it down, and what is so bad about this idea? Why is it essential for every member to see and participate in every single thing? Ultimately, why does it affect someone if they can't participate - is it not possible to accept that something is private and they're simply not invited? And from a sub-ish point of view (rather lacking here lately) aren't there supposed to be privileges to being a Mistress here???

 

To me that position is fundamentally in conflict with the whole submissive mindset! Surely respect should be given to everyone, and particularly those to whom you feel submissive, unless there is cause for that respect to be withdrawn? This whole episode seems to be highlighting just how few submissive members here really are just that...

 

To be fair surely the easiest thing is for all those that seem to want to have a seperate area where only a selected few may venture (rules yet to be chosen)by whoever decides these things is for them to go set up their own website with their own rules and their own choice of who can and cannot join. This site has been run perfectly acceptably to the majority of members who were invited to join it for many years and now all of a sudden a few people have decided things need altering? why? the beauty of this site was always the fact that it was a sharing place of ideas and thoughts. Come on whoever is behind the ideas just pop off and set up your own website filled with agreeable types (obviously i wont be included in it) but hey ho!. Leave the Mansion as it was intended.

 

If what is being asked for is a Keyholder section for keyholders to post in exclusively then I have no objections and think that should be allowed to happen.

There is nothing to stop us from also having a Keys-held section for those that are locked to post in exclusively. In the name of balance then I think both should be a welcome addition to the website.

There is ample evidence that subs are by their very nature very strong minded people . They have to be able and comfortable with themselves to be able to give control to the dominant partner.

Then we come to how are you going to define gender .
So only 100%female or 100% male . In just a few months my blood tests will look identical to any genetic female. However no body is 100% one or the other.

Please define dom or sub and how about switches . Either past present or future ?
This is beginning to sound like a rant which it was not supposed to be .

However I am with the don't fix it if itsnot broken. What is wrong with just keeping every forum open so that any one can drop by have a read and feel comfortable doing so.
You can never tell if any thread is going to be interesting and or a runner.

To start a thread like this was allways going to be a light the blue touch paper jobbie . But so what makes life fun .

Just take a few deep breaths and step back from the thread if you are not happy.

Furthermore I mantain that on a forum with particularly complex personalities ,do everything in the most transparent way possible . I see nothing to be gained by making bits suposidly secret, that any half wit can gain access to by just generating a separate profile, thus a pointless excersise.
