    I was wondering if anyone thought that a couple of restricted forums could be a good thing.
    By that I mean a Mistress or KH one that only members who identified themselves as such in their profile could
    access and maybe a Sub one that only they could access.
    I realise that anyone could just create a false account but I am sure it would not take long for the rest in that
    group to identify the interloper and kick them out.
    Maybe the KH would not like us Subs to talk in private ?

    I would think that would open a big can of worms, (GG, TS etc.) but a Dom/KH section would work I think.
    Although I would not have an issue with a restricted GG section only as I think you deserve some privacy
    if you want it.
    Or maybe you would have to apply to be admitted, that would get around the whole GG, TS, Sissy thing, if you passed the
    test you are in.........Maybe another can of worms looms.

    Apart from false profiles and the obvious who is a boy or girl and if you can define who is sub or dom and put 100% to all categories then good luck to you.

    However as someone who is very keen on a fully inclusive society with no silo mentally I can support this idea .
    One wonders what you think needs to be hidden behind what .

    I don't follow if you are for it or against it Wendy.
    Anyway as I implied in my post I agree it is a minefield trying to categorise who is what, I guess in a simplistic
    way a anyone who holds a key is a Dom and anyone wearing a CB is a Sub.
    As to what would need to be hidden it may just be general male or female issues that would not be of interest
    to the other group.
    e.g. Fit and comfort of particular CB or sharing techniques between KH that they may not want their Subs to know.
    At the moment you can already do a private message so what is the big deal, this would just allow posting a question or
    problem to the group for discussion rather than a known individual.

    I don't think anything needs to be hidden. And I'm not sure where that idea came from. Wendy I suppose. I just think it would be nice if we had a wee space to discuss without the men elbowing in and replying to even the most obviously female specific postings and threads. I don't think anything needs hiding. I just think that area could be labelled and respected as such.

    I think if we look at the words in the OP it is quite clear that what was being suggested was that access would be restricted?
    A secret little place where "you would have to apply to be admitted" were the words in a later post.

    It all smacks of division and playground stuff with secret societies whispering in the corner.

    But the ground seems to have shifted now to it being an open section that can be read bit only females posting?

    As for @thundar 's comment "All members are equal, just some more than others." - wrong. Some may have greater responsibility, but are no better, or more important, than anyone else :)

    There was a post earlier today that seemed to get no response:
    A couple of ladies here seem to have read it and felt unmoved to comment .......

    For someone who likes to play on the semantics of words - "access restricted" means exactly that. Only available, visible and posting, to a chosen few.

    As I said - the ground seems to have moved somewhat - since resistance was encountered.

    No one has actually set out any good logical reasons for this.

    I don't understand why this is so controversial, and why tempers have become frayed. I don't read my Wife's mail or e-mail, I don't listen in to Her phone calls, I don't stand in the corner listening when She meets friends... Why is it such a terrible idea for there to be a private area for Mistresses, keyholders, or whatever definition you want to use, to have a private area? For what is supposedly a generally submissive populaion there's a lot of attitude flying around!

    Why I joined this forum around 4 or 5 years ago was because I could interact with like minded folk without being judged or ridiculed. It's a site where people can feel safe to say things that they can't in real life. If you go down the road of private by invitation only forum them it 's going down the road of elitism. A site of them and us. After all isn't the internet full of places where people can talk privately already.

    Somebody as already stated on here. We are all equal, but some want to be more equal them others.

    I think if we are to have separate stuff we should have one where you have to type with both hands.
