I have seen the dream lover safe for $500. Does anyone know if there's a less expensive option? She wants the ability to allow me to have a key in case of emergency as she's a fair distance away, but for me to ask her to "release the key". Ideas? Thoughts?
you could look into a metal lock box with a bluetooth padlock. I know there are also realtor lock boxes, some of those can be remote controlled. There is cheaper options though for a long distance key holder. Plastic numbered locks or even metal cable ties that have serial numbers. They keep you honest but can be cut any time.
Great ideas! Now you have me thinking out of the box. A solution could be as simple as using a numbered tag to zip tie the key inside the glove box of my car where I can't use it. Thanks @ineverknew

I assume that you do not wear your chastity device outside of the home when it is most needed as I learned the painful and life threatening way. There are much cheaper ways. My wife has a key in a small envelope that is sealed and signed by her. She put a layer of Scotch tape over it so that if I try to remove the tape it will be very obvious. This way I have access to it at home and when I go out without my wife. I have had to use in only twice outside of my home but when you need it, you really need it now. If just for home use a bag of serially numbered locks will work great. When we started out my wife locked it to a shelf in our pantry with a plastic lock and made note of the serial number. If I needed a key when she was not around, a pair of scissors or knife gave me fast access to the key and my wife would know it.

Technology will let you down. This would be far more effective. The numbers will never wear and you would be wise to buy some high quality snips to cut the wire because they don't come off very easy.
