I will say this,, although I realize that males kept in Chastity devices, yes they are being controlled, but I must say, after I unlocked myself last night, showered and then shaved entire pubic area, that smooth fresh feeling, then locking back up again, Wow, the feeling was absolutely amazing! Whether it was just the physical feeling of being locked up, unable to get an erection, or mental, maybe both, but all I know is that it's a feeling I never want to end!

For some reason or another I don't experience the itch until around 12 - 14 days. Most others seem to develop this sooner? I do miss that feeling of being freshly shaven and locked and handing the key to my wife.
I haven’t experienced the itch for over a year now. Shaving every other day seems to be working. After a lot of practice it only takes a couple minutes even without removing the cage. Being smooth is definitely the way to go
As already mentioned wait until it grows back. Itch and ingrown hairs. What I do now is use a beard trimmer on the lowest setting and I do not even have to unlock to do that. My wife and I have shaved smooth down there longer than most her are old. It was fun but the hair growing back was always a problem. However, Google it and there are ways to minimize the problems. My wife has been doing it consistently so she no longer has any problems. I only did it on and off depending on what fetish we were into at the time and I always had problems.
waxing FTW if you exfoliate after when hair grows back, it helps a ton. as does applying neosprin on the freshly waxed skin for the first 24 hours. i went from getting quite a few ingrowns to almost none with the above post care.
Shaving everyday seems excessive, I have been using an epilator for a few years now and can honestly say that I would not use anything else. My hair has stopped growing with the exception of my testicals and that is only light. Never was much at all.
I do not experience it too much anymore. I do shave the area but not completely. I like the top and then shave about inch up from the cage on all sides. Super easy to maintain and keep shaved. I have even figured out how to shave while in chastity around the balls but is definitely better when unlocked and can get all the parts.
but some men are very very very hairy and some that I have seen always has like a dark thing all round there chin and even if they has a shave they still got it. they has to shave every day I bets.
I have always had a good beard growth, the same for pubic hair. But since I started shaving my pubic area about 10 years ago I have had to shave once or twice a week, since starting with an epilator the hair growth has all but stopped and is very light hair. It was quite painful at the beginning but soon started to get more comfortable until now I have to use the epilator once a month and is not uncomfortable at all. it makes wearing knickers much better as they don’t keep catching on hair.
I gave shaving a try a couple of times and found the ingrown hairs and itching unbearable. Now I just do a close trim with scissors. Keeps the hairs short enough to not get caught in the device and doesn’t lead to any itching or irritation.
