Don’t think too much of it, as it is a fairly basic iron chain-link. That does however connects to two upwards stubs on the ring, over which the cage is locked. So it is quite effective.

 

Well, cecile herself hasn’t been wearing a holytrainer anymore since she stepped over to steel chastity devices of Red Chili. For her a major difference was the more open structure of the steel cage versus the closed off structure of the holytrainer. So more air, and better opportunity to clean everything.

Over the years cecile has been moving down to ever shorter cages, from 50mm (about 2”) in length to the 35mm (about 1.4”) she is now breaking into. The ring size itself has remained stable for cecile, though she has tried moving down in size for that as well (which didn’t work for her).

What did furthermore change is the gap between the ring and the cage, which at first was just wide enough to provide opportunity for a ball to slip through it (though that hasn’t been the case when the chain is keeping the cage nice and tight to her body). This is milimeter work, as still enough of a gap is required to have everything fit through. When in doubt go with the recommendations of Red Chili, and don’t worry about it while wearing it with the chain.

Last but not least, cecile has learned that the diameter of the steel material at the cage ring matters too: 5 mm is more comfortable than 4 mm.

Should vivian consider this cage and be uncut, as cecile is, than it will be nice to choose the ‘double head’ feature. This will create a bumper with a little bit of space to minimize skin getting pinched by underwear, while it is also possible to adjust everything just enough to not make a big mess when relieving herself.
