Try a horse tail whip. It doesn't make a sound or hurt by impact but gives a stinging/tinglng rash after the fact. Make sure it's one that is feathered, not all the strands long/the same length.

 

Yes, those ones enable a nice flick if the cane is balanced and the hair has a little swish. Though, I prefer ones that are a little more rustic with short handles. You need to remember, the longer the handle/hair, the further away the Domme has to stand and therefore, the bigger the room needs to be.

That depends on ability, technique and preference.

If you want quick, shorter lashings or flicks, or if the flogger is a beginner, then go with a lighter handle - they are easier on the wrists for females. But, lighter handles should be balanced with less hair. The heavier the hair, the heavier the handle should be for balance. If the flogger is experienced and knows how to use her body weight for casting a stroke then the weightier ones will give more power. They are also better for the longer hair floggers for swing and circular rhythms. For females, with weightier handles you don't actually clench your fist around the handle but have a loose grip so the stick slides as you strike/swing and the knots at the top and base act as stoppers to prevent it from sliding out of your hand. I like to physically exert myself with my floggings so a heavier handle is good for me but the weight can take it's toll on endurance if the Domme doesn't have the muscle in her arms to wield it.

The Loopy Johnny is very similar to an instrument made for beating rugs.

A bath brush, like a hairbrush, is still going to make noise on impact. How much depends on the size of the brush impact area and the force of the blow.

Of course no matter how quiet of loud an implement is on impact you still have to deal with the verbal reaction of the recipient!

Alas not. It's something I have thought about though, courtesy of some old Beano books and Commando comics where carpet beaters were often used to spank for comic effect. I never laughed.

 

I've never heard of a Loopy Johnny but it is very similar to a device given to Mistress by a friend of ours. Hers consists of a wooden handle with a couple of hose barbs fitted into the end. A piece of surgical tubing is then cut to length and the ends inserted onto the hose barbs, resulting in something that looks strikingly similar to the picture you posted. She has used it on me and it works quite well. Mistress loves the marks it leaves on me!

 

I must tell everyone of an absolutely silent punishment implement:
Nettles!
My garden has some nettles growing among the carrots. Sometimes (like today) I accidentally brush against nettle plants and my forearm and 3 fingers are still hurting after 7 hours!
I have read and even seen videos of subs being spanked with nettles. I simply cannot believe that those nettles can possibly be as potent as the ones in my garden!
I have read that the most potent nettles occur in early spring. That is right now in Louisiana!
My wife has threatened to put an entire nettle plant against my butt and make me put her girdle over it. Of course I told her that This treatment is listed in my fantasy bucket list. If she ever does this to me I will comply, but I cannot imagine how dreadful the reality would be!

I've been on the giving and receiving end of the red loopy Johnny from caniac. It's basically completely silent and is extremely painful. It's no joke and it's impact won't be forgotten.

 

Of the implements my wife uses, the cane makes the least noise. If used properly ( a flicking motion) it provided a stiff sting on impact.

 

Icy hot makes no noise. If you can find it, Biofreeze is a completely different pain.

 

You can use a thick extension cord. It sounds basic but its efficacy is impressive and it requires very little effort. After a few rapid strokes, my husband will beg me to stop. It leaves some lovely welts and is completely silent... except for the pleading, of course .
