    Hi all
I had a few questions about the structural strength of the jailbird device for folk with high impact lifestyles. I do a lot of running, rucking, crawling through mud, dirt, gravel, etc etc and was wondering if the extra cage rings for the 4+ inch cage lengths add any significant structural benefit to the cages overall sturdiness, or if it is a purely aesthetic change. Obviously i'm not expecting for some drastic damage to happen to it and it survive but I would like to know if anyone has weathered their cage in less than ideal conditons only to have to worry about simply removing it for a detail inspection and cleaning when it's all said and done. Any input welcome as more data always yields better results.

    Thanks in advance. :)

Personally I feel that "running, rucking, crawling through mud, dirt, gravel, etc etc" while caged seems to be quite risky!

I do see said activities as a moderate risk, though that is part of why I am asking around for into on them and the device itself, as if it's going to turn out to be one of those deals where I am only really wearing it after work I can save a little bit of money by ordering something more bare bones rather than trying to beef up the build quality. For instance with my holy trainer v2 I only wear it now when doing leisure activities as after a day or so "hard usage" it now creaks if I start getting aroused. It still does its job and locks up very nicely but you can hear and sometimes feel just a bit of play in the device, whereas before it locked up tightly and the shaft and ring mated perfectly together.

I think your bits will complain before any cage gives up due to you playing action man .

Lol, while that has happened once I think the general consensus here is that I will just save $160 and stick with the one ring and only cage things up after work.

    :3 thanks all.

Lol, truth be told it's more due to the nature of my work then a desire to do so. Though I was originally considering attempting to get something I could wear 24/7, in hindsight I realize that it's more a liability then anything should a medic need to get to my nethers for one reason or another.

As such I think a regular non"reinforced" cage will do for after work.
