Eugh - life is crap!

Actually it's not that bad, but I'm overwhelmed.

If pet wasn't doing everything he is doing around the house and with the kids, I would have had a nervous breakdown by now.

Still no heating and water... plumber needs to get his arse in gear.

Lori device is a useless heap of crap and I want to sell it and look into a full belt.

At the moment I'm too tired/stressed/busy for any kind of sex life, and because pet isn't locked up I don't feel bad about that. He can just pop off to the bathroom and deal with it himself.

Not a great situation, I agree! But seeing as we are in this no-sex-no-chastity lull, what better time to start researching a new device, ready for Spring and hopefully a less stressful time in our lives.

pet was up at 7.30 am compiling his menu list for the week and then went off grocery shopping before it gets too busy.

Why can't we get it together at the same time! I do have the perfect housemaid now, but he's not getting any benefits.

Something to make you chuckle... the farcical life of a D/s parent!!! Last night I decided to make an effort for poor pet, so put on some sexy lingerie and hid it under a fluffy dressing gown for a surprise later.

I called for pet in a panic, so he had to struggle to remove bits he had fitted and throw on some clothes to come rescue me. He took baby off me (she was nice and clean) and I asked him to help with the mess.

The parting comment on my black sequinned puke covered lingerie was "that's very pretty".

I guess if your partner can see through the baby vomit and still think you are somewhat attractive, it must be love!

I have honestly NO idea!

First it happened because it HAD to, but now he seems to enjoy being the "little woman"... gossiping, making tea for the plumber today, and at the moment he's cooking dinner!

pet and I managed to get (beg, pleade and borrow!) a babysitter last night... shock horror! We NEVER get to go out.

We went to see Quantum of Solace, was really really good.

Things didn't get off to a great start because I wanted to dress up and go out, didn't care where, just wanted to be an adult and do the "preparing ritual" thing.

After a little set-to about the fact it didn't really matter what I was wearing because I would be in the dark, we set off and managed to have a great evening.

I even got a free Ben and Jerry's bag with my ice cream. Life doesn't get much better than ice cream with a free bag!

I would like to think I will be enjoying the holidays, but I have 3 assignments to complete over that period, as well as shopping, entertaining, visiting.... :character0028:

I am well aware that my sex drive has now plummeted to zero, and I think I know the reasons:

1) if we have sex and it all goes wrong, I'll be stressed out for days.
2) if we have sex and it all goes right, I'll be horny and distracted for days.
3) I have the ability to push my desires out of the way and live in denial... it's easier than dealing with them and all the extra hassle.
4) Obviously I'm tired, busy and stressed!

I don't know if I'm concerned or not. Probably not. pet can take care of himself and I can get on with my own life.

Looking from the outside I see this is doomed to failure, but I don't know quite what to do about it! :anim_39:

It would also be great to start the dating thing over. Actually, the past couple of days have been great. With the fact that pet has been doing all the menu planning, shopping and cooking, I felt it was better to give him "housekeeping" money.

Normally I buy everything, but it was great to be taken to lunch and have treats bought for me at the cinema. I know it's sort of my money, but it felt nice anyway!

Today I am exhausted again. Horrible headache. And I damn near KILLED a team member of mine.

Last week she started to interfere with meeting arrangements. The meeting for our team (4 members) and advisor was set for 11am today.

Because *she* couldn't make it she rearranged for 2pm. I misunderstood what she had done and said that I and my partner would be able to make it.

When I realised my mistake, I texted her straight away and said how annoyed I was and that 2pm was difficult due to childcare, etc, etc.

Lo and behold... meeting rescheduled for 3.10pm.... right in the middle of the school run. I flipped!!!! Then I chilled, sorted my life out and got on with it.

Today I find out that member #4 was not informed at all about the meeting and thought it was at 11am. She was due to be in a lecture at 3.10... FIASCO!

Between the 3 of us (minus the pain in the butt!) we concluded we were all very annoyed and needed to work out ANOTHER meeting. 4pm Friday suited us all, and we would put this forward to our other member.

Meeting went ahead at 3.10 today and afterwards we discussed the fact we would be meeting on Friday at 4pm.

Miss PITA squeaked "ohhhhh, can we do it later, 4pm is not very convenient"

Feeling a little more upbeat this morning, not sure why, and not going to question it too much!

Dear oh dear... I see pet has thrown a hissy (sissy?!) fit!

I understand completely so there are no hard feelings. A couple of things pet appears to have forgotten:

1) I'm have a presentation in front of senior members of the local Council on Tuesday and I'm (huge understatement) a little bit nervous!

2) I have an essay to write that I haven't started yet. It's not the essay that's a problem, its finding time to read 15-20 papers before writing it. I need to hand it in before it's due date (and I'll explain why in a minute!)

Because I was tired last night I figured I would wrap a couple of presents to cheer me up as I couldn't concentrate on any Uni work. Can I find anything I need... NO!

pet is right - if you lose something in this house, that's it GONE! Why? Because people put things "somewhere" to put them away later. PUT IT AWAY ALREADY!

The other little fit is over not being able to look after baby AND do housework. I get it, I've been there, with 3 under school age!

When the kids are in bed, take 10 minutes in each room before you settle down for the night.
