Usually the sub contacts the Dom. There are also a lot of fake profiles around, so if you want to spend money (and it is always about money) you better search yourself and maybe it is helpful to have a physical meeting / session once to make sure it fits.

It is highly unlikely a Domme will contact you randomly, just to get to know you. Contacting this person is risky and whoever is on the other end of that discussion is unlikely to be interested in anything but your money.
Hi GinMaestro, Be very cautious; engage in conversation by all means, but assume that the other person is male until proven otherwise and don't part with any money! A D/s relationship is exactly that; a relationship. Your Dominant needs to be someone you know and trust and have spoken to face-to-face, even if that is via Zoom etc. No disrespect to Dominant Ladies who provide a genuine keyholding/online domination service; of course they provide a valuable outlet to those who do not have a local Keyholder, but there are so many fakes and scams that it is important to be very careful.
If you have an indepth profile or extensive online presence as a submissive then it's not totally inconceivable that a Domme would contact you. Though as others have highlighted I think this would be rare and you should ve cautuous.
My partner/mistress is an online domme and never approaches people they approach her, if someone is touting for business by approaching a sub id be very weary as people have said there is probably 200 fake dommes online to every genuine one these days
Hi, I've tried a few online Keyholders, some with quite the online persona established. I want chat keyholding and the odd task. I've paid up to £150 per month and nearly always been disappointed. The best ones I found were something of a punt, considerably cheaper and found on eBay of all places. Altho' I suspect that I get many "failed to respond" I always get in touch prior to the intended start date. If I don't get a response I look elsewhere. One of these fabulous women has stayed in contact with me for about 3 years now, not always as my Keyholder but something treasured no less. So is it worth it? I think so, just be careful and keep your wits about you and you could find something that works for you.
