Has anyone used olive oil for a lubricent ? How safe is it and or does it smell after a while? Just looking for something different and more natural.
Afternoon, having tried a few, I've found coconut is great for lubing the cage and bits and heard it don't taste too bad if told to lick any drips up
Depends what you want to lube with it... Olive oil (and probably most other oils) destroy latex and natural rubber. I learned that the hard way when i one day though it might be fun to pour some into my latex catsuit. Within seconds, it lost its structure and ripped.
We live in Spain. Olive oil is too good to waste on anything but food! The beauty of living in the sticks is that we buy local organic cold pressed extra virgin oil for €4 a litre, and even at that price wouldn’t dream of wasting it on anything other than gastronomy. If you want to put oil on your bits use some artificial stuff, don’t waste God’s nectar. J&J XX
Use lube, oil is fine if you want to use but it makes a mess, whatever you want to clean later will cost much more and if you spill some as will happen you will have to clean it too, if it hits a carpet or any cloth you will have even harder times to clean it out and you will because the underpants will get oil, you can clean the body as hard as you can but it will be some and time will always win this battle There are no reason to use it, it is more expensive and dont lube that well Be aware of the oil you buy, refined oil is not the same as smashed ones (the ones made with a windmill) and even that are few categories of olive oil like extra or virgen extra, the windmill virgin extra is acid and maybe if it stays long enough can make a burn or at least irritate the skin, not every bottle is the same so hard to tell
I used a little hand sanitizer when putting my clitty into the tube. It works great, evaporates quickly and adds an element on sanitation. Been doing that for several months with no side effects.
All oil is not the same. Food oil is not good for mechanical lubricant, it’s food. It will become rancid, gum up, and eventually invite bacteria into a warm moist environment. It’s great on a salad with a splash of vinegar though
I'm currently using coconut oil. Aldi sells it for a fraction of the cost of places like Holland and Barrett. I used to use it on my skin too, it's very nice.
Some use olive oil as a moisturizer for their skin so it’s not harmful to skin. In fact those that use it claim it’s good for the skin. As a lube, it’s ok but not the best choice for reasons mentioned above
