Nub Chastity Cage Review

Thanks for this great review, which aligns with my own experience having just bought the Nub. Bit fiddly to get on but once it slips into place, unexpectedly it's almost as if it's not there. And no issues with the tube extending beyond back beyond the ring. In fact, I find it effective for increasing security.

I went 4 days without removal and then when cleaning I didn't feel there was a particular need for a clean. It's not a difficult device to clean while wearing in the shower, so I'm wondering whether anyone is wearing this type of cage for longer periods without removal? It certainly feels like it doesn't need such regular removal...

 

I just bought the Holy Trainer Nub V.5 It is the most comfortable chastity device that I have bought since beginning male chastity about 7-8 years ago. I have had trouble in the past with the ring pinching my scrotum. That has not happened with the Nub. I have also had many instances where my left testicle has popped out because the gap was too large. That has not happened with the Nub, and it looks as if it won't happen. It is so comfortable that I have been unaware that I was wearing it. Best of all, the device presses firmly against my body, making pullout extremely difficult if not impossible. I am looking forward to wearing it full time (except when she wants to play).

 

Ive been in the V4 Nub for well over a year now. Had some irritation issues with the ring but overall happy. The nub is the only size which fits my shrunken penis. Into my 3rd year of 24/7/365 chastity.

For the past several years I’ve been locked in the HT v4 Small. A comfy cage worn randomly when it was required. Recently we discovered the new HT v5 was available. As I’ve aged the cock has shrunk because of well old age. The decision was made to go with the v5 Nub and to see if this will provide an updated experience. OMG what a change in the way the device works. 1. There were other changes made in the sex life as well, I now use generic viagra when the Mrs wants to have sex, though she has me take a half pill 25mg and then decides to go to sleep instead. The last time we did have sex was 6 days ago. How this effects the v5 Nub to be explained shortly. 2. The first v5 nub purchased the ring was ordered as a 40mm as that was the size we used on the v4. The ring was too small, my balls turned blue and cold in a matter of minutes. Finally after waiting another week and continuing to use the v4, which works perfectly for us. I went to put on the v5 Nub with the 45mm ring and found getting the device on this time was very difficult compared to the first time. This was associated to the Generic Viagra I took for the past 3 days to be teased. This was Friday night. We went back to the v4 until today (Sunday) where the v4 is now locked away somewhere I don’t know about and the pink nub without the keys was left on my vanity. Trying to get into nub again this morning took sometime, a review on this forum gave me some guidance of pressing the nub down to have it slide in place, which it did eventually. I still think the after effects of a few days of Generic Viagra still had the blood flowing to the penis which does make me longer even when flaccid. It’s tight and my balls did go blue but not cold. Since they didn’t go cold I didn’t text the Mrs for where she left the new keys. Something I realized I didn’t have when I started getting ready. The device has been in now for 4.5 hours and wow what a difference between the c4 small and the baby pink v5 nub. The nub totally hides my penis inside the comfy pink resin, the snub settles into the balls as though it’s on a form changing pillow. I’ve had to pee a few times while wearing it after my weekly analgasm and that is not too bad. Actually it is better than peeing with the v4. I think the next bigger ring maybe a near future investment but we’ll see how I go the next few days locked in the Nub.

Next part of the transition will be seeing if the Mrs will take it off anytime soon or will I have to experience the Nub with a few days dosage of Generic Viagra before removing the nub. I think it will be the latter as she loves to harass me about how small my penis is and now she can say I no longer have one.

I'm curious to know the longest people go wearing the nub without removal, before there really is a need to clean? Plastic just isn't great for keeping hygienic, but the nub itself feels like it could be worn without removal for a long time!

 

I've been V4 Nub well over a year, closer to 18month I think.. I unlock and clean twice a week usually. My penis is like a clit now, just gone. Doesnt even try to get hard anymore

 

I recently switched from CB3000 to HT V5 Nano. The fit is good but I have found the curve at the end for the tube catches when I stand after sitting for longer periods and pinches quite uncomfortably.

I have a Nano on order (supposed to get here tomorrow) and from looking at the tube end, should solve that problem.

Anyone else experience any pinching when getting up after sitting or otherwise?

Overall though I like the HT vs the CB. I had one CB split on me and other had a rough spot that I had to file down from scratching.

 

Been wearing the nub, but also with a marble in as I find it a bit large sometimes...or with a stretcher, that was uncomfortable though.

I ordered a V5 nub (knock off) to test before I decide to go with the original, it only came with one ring, 40mm and my balls turned blue very quickly so that's is to small. Would you recommend a 50mm or 45mm ring with the nub V5? I can't get the rings separately where I live so need to get tech whole package with tube and ring. I'm used to a metal micro and use a 40mm round ring with no problem but that nub with 40mm was way to tight so not sure if the next one up, 45mm will make a difference or if I should go up to 50mm?

The plastic version is probably the most comfortable cage I've ever worn but plastic does need cleaning more often than steel. Hence, pondering the steel version....

 

I’ve been wanting to give chastity a very good try. I’ve had a small HT in the past. I could wear it ok until I would get excited then intense scrotum burning!. The tube was probably a bit too wide. After reading all this I’m wondering if going to a nub would help the burning by keeping me from growing too much. Thoughts?

 

The nub is shockingly comfertable for something so absurdly small. I've worn several HT cages (v2 small, v3 small, nano, and nub). I really disliked the smalls, I experienced the same issue, and the locking mechanism had a tendency to "catch" on my clothing when ever I squatted or moved quickly.

The nub has none of those issues, and it's easy to urinate while standing. Plus, it's very stealthy. The only problem with the nub, is that of hygiene; otherwise it would be my cage of choice if we ever go to 24/7, 365 chastity. The nano is a good compromise if that's a concern. I'd also recommend trying a few different rings. Sizing down might help.

 

I'm trying to figure out what I should try next. I have a V3 nano, but it's too big and I also get ring burn. I've thought about trying a nub, but I'd also like to try a V5. Maybe I should just bit the builet and buy a V5 nub, but I'm not sure about ring size. I switch between the 45mm and 50mm V3 rings, and I'm not sure which is better. I have a Ternence steel device too. It's 45mm but the ring is not as thick, and it fits great. I fear that any HT ring is going to be too thick for me.

I ended up trying the 40mm,45mm and 50mm rings with the Nub, although I had to get then with the tubes as couldn't get the rings separately. The 45mm seems to be the best fit, it's snug but no issues sleeping in it or wearing all day. I would say get a 45mm and 50mm and see which works better, everyone is different. But as another post mentioned it's really insanely comfortable. Might look into getting a metal one as test.

 

I’ve been locked in the v5 nub for a couple weeks now. I had moved from a 45 to a 50mm even though with the v4 small I was in before I wore a 45mm.

After being locked the past couple weeks with 5 minute release every 3 days for cleaning. The nub has been a much superior experience even after a couple days wearing it, the nub didn’t smell like the v4 small would because when I pee the holes line up and there’s no gap for urine to get trapped in the tube.

Peeing is a totally different experience too. I don’t feel the urine streaming I only hear it hitting the toilet water. A couple times I stood up and hadn’t finished peeing.

The v5 nub is honestly , after trying at LEAST a dozen other cages (including various metal ones, other plastic ones like Cobra , HT v4 nano/standard and nub, etc) hands down the most comfortable and reliable cage to wear ....and it's not even really close!

After having worn many different variations before of the HT, and despite me hanging very 'high and tight' , this actually doesn't feel uncomfortable with the nub-- but rather one of the most comforting parts for me.

My only lament is the design of the actual cage head....and despite trying multiple different approaches to keep it as clean as I can...after even just a day of wear, it gets to be rather unclean...whether its leaking or something else.

Wish that it were slightly more breathable and would be more hygienic for longer-term lockup.


Otherwise, I highly recommend it to anyone...only in Pink though! any other color and you're just being silly

 

My longest time to date in an HTv4 Nub was 254 days. The device was briefly removed every two to three weeks or so for a deep cleaning and personal hygiene.

 

For my daily cage when working I wear a knockoff metal cage but my wife picked up a knock off v4 Nano a while back for me to wear when I'm off work for more than a day or so. Friday she presented me with the Nub tube for it. The Nano was good in all regards but the Nub is great. It's weird looking down there and seeing pretty much all balls more than anything else. It's a different experience trying to get hard wearing it, I'm not sure how to articulate it really. She's over the moon with the visuals of me wearing it. We're pretty fastidious about cleaning that's why she's moved me away from closed cages but since we're both off work for a few days she's been taking it off me and cleaning me up, which is an enjoyable bonus, except for the desperate blueballs

 

I too will sing my praises for the Holy Trainer line.
I have had various ones including v2 all the way to v4.
The devices are super comfortable and never had a problem (aside for the 1st iteration of the Nano which had a problem with balls slipping due to its tube design flaw which has since been fixed).

The only criticism is their locks (the MagicLocker) which was used in v4 and older were not very good. While they were discreet, over time they would become difficult to open and the key would get stuck. I've had a key snap in one lock as well. I've gone through at least 2 locks already, each only lasting just over a year. The newest version has a different locking mechanism altogether so hopefully the bad locks are a thing of the past.

 

Thank you for all of that good information. I am about to begin training for a long term lock up. I say training but it is really just getting the cage properly adjusted and getting used to it. Mistress will be including feminization so we agreed pink needed to be the color limiting my choices significantly. I am ordering the nob on Monday. Can’t wait to try it out.

 

My v4 Nub is my 3rd HT knock off. Small, nano now nub.
I found that "tucking tab" too long as it dug into me and was uncomfortable.
I took a grinder and shortened it about 1/4", much better now.
I also drilled a few extra holes along the sides for better air flow.
Closing in on 2 months straight without removal.
Love my Nub.
