Hello. I like it very much. However, I didn't measure right when I first ordered it . The cage length is about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch long and I'm kinda in between on base ring of 1 3/4 and 1 5/8. I like the design but will be ordering a jailbird from mm with the smaller dimensions when I get my tax return. It's easier to keep clean with more open design of jailbird. Really can leave it on 24/7. Just take it off to shave. If that's your thing. So my only gripe with watchful mistress is you really gotta take it off at least a couple times a week to clean.
