Yes, I saw your message there this morning - welcome! The design is really at a stable point, and it's just a matter of gathering feedback and adjusting and fixing. I feel pretty good about where the design is and how to make it fit me, but there's a lot of people out there that aren't me (good thing, right?). I'm going to send you a message with some questions about sizing - Fill those out and get them back to me.

    Update:
no design changes, but a variant of the unicorn has been modeled, printed and (ahem) modeled! You'll find it in my Gallery - love to hear your feedback!

The unicorn certainly looks interesting. I don't think my wife would let me anywhere near her with it though, way too hard.

Have you had a chance to put it to use?

Nice looking cage @JosieLynn Jewel. How is testing going? Finding yourself still making improvements?

    Hi JosieLynn,
I am very intrigued by the New Fun Cage.and he Shafthugger ring Still waiting for the slow boat with my printer on it so I can't print it myself. Let me know what info and $ you need. Still using the nano cage, but really like the look of the NFC.
    regards,
    Stu

Miss is still out of commission for a bit - The only testing that was done was with a silicone pussy, and it worked wonderfully. I don't know that I would use it on my Miss to be honest (same reason you cite, too hard), but the vac-u-lock version with a nice regular dildo is certainly something we plan to try. The vac-u-lock dildo I have was having issues with the silicone pussy (similar material, sticking) and I wanted to test how durable the parts and the joints were, and I'm happy to say there was no cracking or breaking even during vigorous activity.

A few posts back, I mentioned that I think it's gotten to a final form pending input from testers. My personal testing has been going well, I'm about to complete my eighth day locked in, and going on four without a choice - Miss has the key(s), and I have no idea where they are.

I'll message you with the required information.

At this point, any further testers will need to wait for a second round of testing as I need to catch up on the parts I need to customize for the current group of testers. Keep an eye out, I will start a new thread and announce the new name when I get to that point!

Are you interested in making PA device. The PA could be added by use of a circular ring or some other shape or integrated. I'd be happy be a guinea pig. My Wife likes me locked long term. Let me know..

I am not looking for any new testers right this second. I am, however, waiting for some testers to provide feedback!

If you have a 3D printer, then there's no cost, but if you do not, there's a cost to have the device printed and shipped, and it's in the $30-$35 ballpark.

Hmmm... I really like this idea. I have a 3D printer (Creator Pro), so I'll download and try this out. What materials have you used (PLA/ABS/Nylon, etc) and had success with, from a strength and use point of view?

I do have a thought/request for the "accessories adapter"... my wife would like to enforce sitting to pee, particularly at home. The design of this cage would seem to allow/enable standing (if one were careful) as well as urinal use, etc.

Perhaps a design for a 'guard' could be added that (independently) locked to the top, and then carried around to the front, presenting a small flat plate in front of the two cage bars that would intentionally prevent peeing forwards. The fact that this could be locked on or removed independently of the cage would be very nice... in my case, my wife might allow me to remove it so I can stand to pee at a rest stop, for instance, but leave it on when I am at home, etc.

Perhaps I am missing something obvious, but could you point me to where I might be able to get the files to print? Thanks.

These files for this design have not been made available. Testers have been provided with their specific files, but that is all.

Thank you for the add-on idea. Were your thoughts to make it a separate lock, or utilize the screw-holes for the mounting system (not lockable, but require tools or 3mm stainless rods (which I've picked up and have tested and like))? In theory it could be something that screws into the mounting holes, and then has a lock for removal of the pee guard plate. It would not be "stealthy" though as the additional lock would add to the bulk, but that may be of little concern to your wife.

It would be nice to just have the cage and the base for the vac u lock on for regular use and the vac u lock to be able to click or somehow be attached when needed

So what would the cost of a vac u lock cage shown in the picture be? My husband has a 3d printer but I don’t know much about it.

To answer all of the posts.

the vac-u-lock mount is a separate piece from the ring and the cage, and it attaches to both the ring and cage via holes on each, and can be secured with either M3 screws or with 3mm stainless steel rods.

The vac-u-lock designs shown here need to be updated to the latest "spec" of cage. When I sent a test file to shapeways, the cost for the cage and ring (depending on sizes) in rough nylon is ~$35. The vac-u-lock mount (the unicorn) was $30 by itself due to the volume of material in the vac-u-lock adapter. I did not price the mount with realistic dildo, but I know it will be fairly expensive. A larger version for my older design (new fun cage - required the cage to come off though) is in my shop priced at $120, and that's not with any sort of huge markup.

I haven't figured out a good solution for people who want to print their own - I haven't found a good STL shop that will do adult items.

I see. I've downloaded the some of the .stls on the 'New Fun' thread, and I'll try them out. I know that you had a breakage and have made improvements since then, though, so I that's what I was hoping to try.

If you figure out how you can distribute them in the future, or are looking for more testers, please update?

As far as how the add-on would attach... not sure. Ideally it would lock. I'm going to see if I can design something that will attach to one of my existing devices and maybe that will flesh out the idea.

I will keep CM apprised! Breakage was never the issue - it was mainly about the bulk of the locking as well as the lack of a positive mating feeling, and then there have been many improvements from there..

regarding the locking - I've seen a lot of designs lately incorporate a second lock toward the tip of the cage to allow the tip of the cage to open for cleaning etc. Maybe up there is a more convenient location for it.

Are the 3d printed ones you make comparable with doc Johnson vac u loc stuff that is commercially available?

It was designed to be - I modeled the vac-u-lock adapter I purchased, and duplicated the measurements. The toys I have all fit on it just as well as the purchased one. The dildos I have all have modeled balls, so those hit on the cage, which was why I suggested one that was just a shaft..

If anyone could come up with a anti pull out detection capability you would be famous. Something that latches if the penis is removed to indicate that you have cheated the device as we all know that its possible to pull out of the back of almost any cage without a PA. As such I have to wear a urethral insert which stops me getting back into the cage and I have tried when mistress pulled me out of the back of the cage and left me with it around my testicles all day so I did try to get back in and could not. However if we could devise a mechanism to detect pullout I would be allowed to wear a non urethral cage and could be left caged for longer.

Couldn’t you put some very strong magnets in the sides of it that would meet if whatever was holding them apart was taken out? Couldn’t those be linked to an electronic sensor that went off if the two magnets met?
