My first question would be, why do you feel compelled to masturbate? A cage might stop the execution but not the urge.

Oh it will work if you get you device the right size for yourself. Small is usually better as it restricts the penis from swelling too much while keeping you a little more comfortable. Then there is the security of the solution to consider. Good advice is a total device (cage+base ring) 10mm smaller than your smallest body - tip of penis measurement when you have shrunk. Thanks for the advice. I have been looking at devices online and have to admit it is alittle overwhelming. There's alot of different styles. I never imagined so many.
I have tried many of them starting over 10 years ago with the plastic CB range which are quite frankly toys and only good for a little titillation not serious chastity denial. Then we moved on to the metal range from China which proved useful however they were not that secure so we had to improvise (see our journey on the blog..my wife has asked me to wear a chastity cage). In order to keep it secure I needed a plastic shield to stop me getting back into the device if I ever tried to pull out of the back. Too small and its easy to pull out the back. Too long and erections are semi possible. So its important to get the right length and base ring dimensions. Steelworx advise 10mm shorter than your smallest length and it works perfect. So I have a total shortest penis length measured from the body to the tip (on top) of 7cm so I am now in a total device length of 6cm and I fill it 100% of the time tight which is very comfortable. One of the experienced dominatrix on the site advised we experiment with urethral inserts for security and it turns out its a very good method of keeping the sub caged as long as the dimensions are correct.
