Neosteel Spaceless The Fun - Issue connecting crotch system

I recently received my belt from Neosteel, the spaceless system and "the fun" crotch model.

Waistband fits perfectly, so no issue there.

However, the placement pins on the front of the belt and and lock pin appear to be larger than the holes on the front of the crotch module. I can't seem to get the pins through the holes where they go in order to lock on the belt.

Has anyone else had this issue? Am I missing something obvious to others?

Actually, after playing with it over the span of a few hours I was able to get it all to work. Question answered!
