    Hi,

Does anyone have experience with the neosteel rear-guard for long-term use? Neosteel say that clean up after defecation is more work. My question is - how much more? Is it reasonable to go a month in one of these?

    Hi,
first of all : I don't have a rearguard version. However, once when I got my "The Arch Sports" new, I tried to do a "Number 2" without pulling the cable to the side. I don't want to go into details here, but already that was a big mess.
Here only a cable was the obstacle, I don't like to imagine if there is a wide and inflexible metal band in the way. Cleaning underneath will be extremely difficult.
As tempting as the idea of such a total closure is, it might be ok for a session, but nothing for everyday use.
