    In a German Forum people are riddled to what happened with Neosteel.
    The shop was offline for months, now it's back but a different owner and town, company was founded in June:

    CEO: Daniel Waldenmaier

    Rumors are Mr. Mende died? Does anyone know something about that?

    I spoke with Mr. Waldenmaier regarding payment and he was fairly responsive over email. I have not yet received anything from Neosteel yet but yes, it appears he is the new owner.

    From what I understand, the old owner passed away. The new owner worked for him and is attempting to re-open the company and re-start production

    I recently engaged NS for a new crotch module (in the past month). Initial replies from Daniel were excellent (next day), however, after we confirmed the specs and I sent payment -have not been able to get a response since 8/22.

    Suggest caution at this point given the change in ownership/operations and possibly suggest a 50% deposit while the item is being made with the balance upon evidence of completion and readiness to ship. I am not sure if NS has operated like this in the past, however, given the recent change, it may be warranted.

    Also appreciate anyone else's recent NS experiences- especially if they have ordered and received something.

    I sent a prepayment for a full belt on april, I had an exchange with Mr Waldenmaier in june. I asked on july how is the order, no answer. I tried another mail on august, no answer. I tried phone calls, no answers. Make up your mind...

    Sorry to hear that- seems the new ownership setup has not been fulfilling orders since April, think that's when the change over happened. NS was a good chastity resource in the past, now it may be very diminished/delayed or worse, a scam to take in new orders based on the prior reputation (for as long as possible) w/o producing the product. Really, the lack of communication for both of us, post payment is the most concerning factor...

    I didn't attempt a phone call, however and ironically, a few hours after I posted yesterday, I did receive a follow up email from Daniel indicating they are very busy and he had a question about one of the measurements.

    I replied back to him and will see how things go from here.

    We also sent deposit to Neosteel and just 5 days ago sent email asking to let us know if all is good and there are no problems with production. So far no response . We hope that they are busy and soon some time will replies,

    Right now I'm seeing a 3 week delay in their responses... I last asked something on 9/4 and got a response on 9/25

    3 Weeks? Lucky. I sent in a part and I am currently sitting at week 4 waiting for a response. I don't think they are going to take people's money though. Going a little crazy right now waiting, I was kind of hoping the new owner would be a little better with communication. Hopefully they figure things out.

    wondering if I should ask for deposit back as no response. also sent in asking about fixing and replacing cable no reply at two weeks……

    I get an answear the same day or day after around 19.. the last days. but I have not ordered yet. maybe it changes when he gets the money :confused:

    FWIW, my record of no response from Neosteel under old management was close to 10 months (after several emails). They'll get back... eventually.

    Carefull, it seems that after you paid, you will certainly get no more answer / news like us and feel ripped off. Definitely a very unpleasant experience. I personnally still didnt get my order (ordered more than 6 months ago) and I have no news since many weeks. Like the last email was to put me to sleep and forget.

    Don't give up hope. Over the years I've questioned them myself. They're just VERY VERY slow with communicating. Just keep reminding them every so often.

    Got a response eventually. I would recommend that if you must get a hold of someone, try calling. Emails seem to be responded to via the pony express. But the new owner seems to be trying his best. It's been a rough year.

    I finally received The Fun crotch tube this morning after the order was placed in August. Build quality is still the same as one would expect from Neosteel although with a longer wait time.

    I used dw@neosteel.de for communicating with Daniel and emails were intermittent but he does eventually reply.

    So... I finally got my belt back in the mail. I sent it in to be shortened, and as far as I can tell, they didn't actually shorten it at all. How does that happen? What do I even say?

    And as far as build quality goes... you know those nice, straight symmetrical climate holes you get normally? Well this time they are all over the place. They are spaced unevenly, and in different spots on both sides. It looks terrible.

    You are lucky, I'm still waiting mine which was ordered on april!
    And I have no more answers to my email, except one in which he told me rather sharply that he had no time to communicate to me, without any excuse.
    I'm thinking about filing a complaint for scam, it is almost 9 months that I wait!

    I ordered in early September and was told it would be delivered in 7 weeks. It's now been almost twice that long and I haven't received the belt or any responses either. Only the first communication where I asked how to pay (since their website wasn't working) was answered quickly but I haven't received any answers since then.

    The latest I have from Daniel - delay due to a supplier issue (1 person operation), adding a couple of more weeks expected delivery time. This seems to be a valid point, these custom shops are often small and in turn if they rely on a single person shop for something and they get sick, a delay is inevitable. Of course, better NS has more suppliers...
