    Some good metal tune.

    My favourite tune at the moment is "Portugal. The Man - "Feel It Still"" it has a good beat.

    I have this song on repeat these days (Dusk til Dawn, Zayn Malik), largely because it is underpinning this video, but it's a great sounding song.

    I'm gonna (try to) post a full album today.
    The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers.
    A paean to blackness, bleak despair, angst, anger, nihilism, destruction of beauty, and the futility of human existence.
    You have only to look at the track listing to get the idea.
    I remember well how the music world was stunned into silence by its release in 1994.
    Such grim subject matter so intelligently explored and articulately expressed.
    James Dean Bradfield's musical chops, unique vocal style and towering, powerhouse guitar.
    Nicky Wire's finely honed songwriting, understanding of melody and pop sensibilities
    And of course last but most definitely not least, the utterly fearless intellect, encyclopedic knowledge & experience and razor like perceptons of Richey's beautiful, twisted, damaged and ultimately doomed mind.

    It's a masterpiece. An album which has remained with me for 25 years, and I know it always will.
    At certain periods my best, truest and only friend. At other times completely overlooked and ignored.
    But every time you take it out and play it you hear something different, it blows you away all over again, and you wonder how on earth you managed to survive without it for so long.
    I truly believe it's an album everybody should own.

    Pet introduced Me to this band and I'm pretty addicted. I love metal anyway, but the lyricism of this band impresses Me the most.

    Totally different today.
    My absolute favourite trumpet player. Just love his sound.
    People talk lots of rubbish about jazz. You don't need to intellectualise, be an expert or a pretentious asshole to like it.
    Just press play, get on with something else, and let it wash over you :)
    I'm not a big jazz fan at all, but I love this era. Lots of great musicians getting high and trying new things. Breaking down barriers. What music is all about.
    The band members here read like a who's who. It's essentially Miles Davis backing band from arguably his most creatively fertile period, plus a few others. Including a certain George Benson, who's guitar solo here is off the chain.
