Mizuki's Self-Locking Journal

I just landed here today and this is actually my first post! Have been wearing my Fancy Steel sissy belt intermittently in recent weeks, and I just wanted to share my progress from this point, to get to know people here and also just to give myself a bit more motivation. I do hold my own keys but leave them at specific places at home, so I can't randomly unlock when I'm out and about.

This first post is me picking up belting again after a break for a few days. Current goal is to go through the night without having to unbelt (has been difficult due to pains waking me up).

 

Day 2 Update: survived the morning, cleaning break
This hasn’t happened in a while — but I did survive last night without being waken up, and even though it got a little painful in the morning (stuck halfway into the cage?) a toilet visit and some lubes got everything settled. So I headed to school straight from a night in chastity, a success personally speaking.

I decided to give myself a cleaning break although it’s been only one day from locking — I’m still getting used to showering in the belt. To keep the spirit going the break was strictly for cleaning, and I immediately locked the belt back afterwards. Interested to see how it’ll go tonight.

Time locked (omitting cleaning break): 25 hours

 

Day 3 Update: Unlocking, for now
Today brought good and bad news. The good part is I managed to go through another night without much problem caused by the belt. Quality of sleep was mediocre but at least didn't get waken up. The unfortunate part is that the edge of the cage started really scratching against my skin this afternoon and made it necessary for me to take it off for a while (see picture). I don't know if this is a design flaw, but I wasn't wearing the belt very tightly as to cause such pain. Admittedly this belt is not so "bespoke" as other higher-end Fancy Steel belts are, so maybe there's some tradeoffs happening there.


Despite this it has been an improvement for me, as I hit almost 48 hours belted (47 hours to be exact). Will be updating when I get back to it, when the pain goes away.

It does comes out a bit bulky but the only comfort issue is with the cage (more details in my last post). It also does offer a lot of room for adjustment for the waist and crotch pieces, so that's not too much of an issue, at least for me.

 

Hello Marc! Thanks so much for the comments -- I'm just starting out here with this belt and it's amazing to hear from someone who have managed to wear it long-term. Just want to add that the rear strap was left loose because I had issues with the cage... I do want to pull it tighter if I could pad the edges though (will try your recommendation!)

 

Feb 19 Update: Trying on the belt with leather padding.
After trail-and-error for several days, I was able to fit leather strips on the belt's sharp edges, and this is how it looks now...


I initially tried double-sided tape, but for some reason it didn't work, so ended up using a heat glue gun + tape on the outside to secure the padding. I also added a short leather strip to the cage edges that had been causing all the skin irritations in previous trails.

Locked in for today, and looking forward to any improvement in comfort.

 

Nov 29 Showering in the belt

Finally it’s day 2 into this session. Some adjustments to the belt + new tools has allowed me to clean up more effectively after using the restroom, so now I skip the cleaning break and instead try actually keeping the belt locked for days, including when I shower. I feel really excited about keeping the belt on, as if it’s part of my body and not just a piece of clothing (that’s how it should be, I would like to believe). I can now enjoy having the bulky parts tucked away and never think about them.


The only worries are that some of the tape I use to secure the leather buffers came off after the hot shower. May have to think about some way to keep it there.
