    Well it's definitely mandatory in our marriage! Funny enough I think Mrs Chaste would support wedding day locking! Her first husband ran off with another woman! Mind you as she said, it's just as well he did! :)

    Regarding the original question, what kind of extreme circumstances would initiate such a law to be implemented in a first world country? It would be exciting.

    Would law enforcement be required to frequently check that all non females are locked? It's like Santa getting down all those chimneys in one night!

    Well as I see it having improved my marriage I could see it being introduced in law during pre-divorce procedures where the judge would order a 1 year cooling off / reconciliation period of enforced male chastity.

    Legally divorce is the breaking of a contract so a law could be instated to allow such breeching only after every possible avenue had been explored complying with the marriage vows to avoid it.

    Enforced male-chastity councilors would fit the device, advise the wife on T&D and the husband on hygiene and long term comfort.

    If they both confirm to the judge at the end of the trial year that they still want divorce, the judge could grant it or extend the trial for a second year.

    Once the divorce was pronounced, the ex wife gets to keep the key and decide if and with whom the ex husband can get off with. In fine she gets to approve or not the ex hubbys future 2nd wife cos he ll not be able to consumate without her approval. However once she were to approve the key would go to the 2nd wife, but she would have to undergo EMC councilling as divorced husbands would be obliged to continue wearing the device as "known offenders".

    It would sober up a lot of lazy marriages, cut divorce rates by 10 maybe, and increase the number of happy families and children. The children would be so relieved at seeing their mothers take back control.The freed up marriage councilors would be retrained to be EMC councilors.

    Mandatory to me means that the man doesn’t have a choice. So I answered Never. This should be a mutual decision by the couple that they both want. That’s not mandatory to my way of thinking

    I agree that it would change the world but right now it’s just a fantasy. Too many issues and too much division.

    That said, if we ever evolve to that point I’d say puberty is to late. Technology would have to be developed so it would be safe from righ5 after birth.

    I can imagine the benefits of enforced chastity for male sex offenders. Having to endure a sentence of being locked in a chastity belt for an extended duration ought to be a deterrent for some, at least for a first offence. Having to report regularly to female officers at the local police station would send a strong message. I suspect having women in uniform holding your key is a common fantasy here.

    I won’t really get into whether it should be mandatory, due to the fact so few men are into this, and the absolute minuscule amount of women that even tolerate it let alone actively want it.

    Fantasy aside, the reality is I think many couples could use some sexual boundaries. More than a few women I have been in relationships with have said they felt pressured for sex. Felt they couldn’t instigate intimacy because their partner would assume sex was then obligated. Society driven or not, some women feel like they can’t participate in certain activities without feeling they have to have sex. Back rub? Ooooh that sounds nice...but he’s going to poke his Dick around my butt until I let him fuck me, and I’m not in the mood for that. I would love if we made out, but he’s gonna think it’s going somewhere so I just won’t bother.

    Sometimes a cage allows them to feel secure enough that it doesn’t have to lead anywhere when intimacy begins.

    It also curbs self pleasure, which I don’t find morally wrong, but it may limit a mans priorities.

    And as much as a chastity device should never be worn to prevent infidelity, it certainly doesn’t hurt my wife’s feelings that it’s impossible for me to use my penis(with someone else or even myself).

    So yes there are many benefits, many that non kinky people would love to have. I think the most we can aspire for is awareness and conformity.
