Thanks! It sounds like a neat concept. What I am wondering also is how that would effect the comfort of the device at night when the erections start happening. I've got my device fitting very well after modifying the cage and resizing the teste ring, and the only thing that wakes me at night is needing to pee.

definatly looks interesting, but it would have to be with a closed or semi closed cage wouldnt it ?.
It would be to easy to stick something in there to prevent the internal ring from pressing down or leaning backwards, that way the ring stays upright and you would be able to pull it back out with ease (and soap)

That's been one of my concerns also. I would think that at least the top half of the cage would need to be solid, or nearly solid (maybe with small holes for ventilation), to prevent manipulating the anti-pullout ring. With a clamshell style cage like I am hoping to get, that should be possible.

It is possible to pull out that way. I was thinking about emailing lori to see if i could make that change. I will say i was not able to get back in without removing the cage.

Couldn't get back in even with the stocking method? Anything I could pull out of, I've been able to get back into using that. In fact, I can't even get into my primary cage any other way.

This is one of the reasons that I want the clamshell design. With a closed one-piece cage, if you can get into it in the first place, if you can pull out while locked, you ought to be able to get back in using the same method. A clamshell two-piece design gives you open access while you're unlocked, so it might be possible to prevent pullout, or al least prevent re-entry after pullout because you won't have the same access.

I have not tried the stocking method. The small ring is kind of a pain to put on even with the cage off. it is smaller than the head. And once the small ring is in the cage it is angled making it harder to push back in.

I agree i would like to see the top changed so there is no access to the pullout ring. I may reach out to her and see if she can modify it.

Twenty days round trip, including New Years Day, for the adjustment which was replacing the two back rings (1 with separator and 1 without and both the smallest back ring size I have ever worn!) with larger back rings with a wider spacing.
I originally ordered 1 9/16" back rings. The new back rings are 1 3/4". I received them last night. The back ring without separator had a slightly larger spacing so I tried it first. Nice and comfortable! I am still wearing it comfortably.
This 2A is truly an awesome work of art!

If you reach out to her, feel free to tell her that I am ready to order one if this issue can be addressed. Please drop me a note when you do, and I'll follow up with her myself too.

I am very interested in placing an order for one of these Lori 2A with retainer ring. Can anyone please share their experiences in ordering, sizing, communication, delivery time etc with Ms.Lori?
Would appreciate to see anyone post some pics of the cage/retainer ring.... not locked on... just the cage itself. Thanks

Search the other threads. I scrolled through all the pictures on her site and posted pictures of all the cages I could find with the retainer ring. It was time-consuming, because the site is not very well organized. The retainer ring isn't really easy to see in many of the pictures, but taken together with the one I've seen here of it actually being worn, it's easy to see how it works.

I did contact her today. She says she can take the existing cage and make the changes to cover the top half. Her warning is that it would make it heavier. I think we will hold off for now. We are very happy with it the way it is for now.

Wow, that's a quick reply. I was under the impression that she might not be so easy to reach.

Ask her if she can make the bars of the cage closer together so that you cant get anything between them to mess with the retaining ring.
She did that with mine and you cant stick nothing between the bars to mess with the ring except for a toothpick and thats totally useless .

I was thinking along those lines, too. Great to hear that somebody has actually done it. IMO, the spacing would need to be REALLY tight, and maybe have crossbars too. Couldn't let anything the thickness of a coat hanger through, and would probably need to be even tighter to prevent any thin metal tool from being inserted. At a certain point, it might be simpler to go to a solid piece, although I'd prefer to keep the ventilation and visibility of the cage.

The cross bars maybe half way up would be good and keep it lighter and ventilated. Easier to clean too. Mine was heavy feeling when my wife first locked it on but you get use to it pretty fast.

Does anybody have any issues with skin irritation on the retainer ring? It sits behind the head and that portion of the skin is sensitive

How does it affect blood flow to the head of the penis? It seems it would need to be pretty snug.

    Snug, but not too snug.
You can test size with black rubber o'rings. The first size I tried caused edema. Not good.
I increased the inner diameter by 1/16" and that works. I wore it for 4 days without issues and my next test run will be 5 days. After retirement, I hope to wear it full time.

I also tried with an o ring but it caused skin irritation as it was right on the skin of the head. Is that because it was too tight?
