I believe I will throw my hat in the ring.

I'm trying to remain caged as much as possible at present. I did 7 weeks locked 24/7 when I first got my Jail Bird back in March 2022 but had to unlock because of sleep deprivation. I have sleep apnea which makes matters worse. I appear to be done with volunteer fire and flood relief for this year, so I don't see a need to remove cage during the day anytime soon, except for hygiene.

I'm a self locker, and it isn't a problem, as my libido is quite depressed. I only have erections at night, even if I look at porn. Some nights, no painful erections, others 3-4 painful erections.

If I lock up for Locktober, I'll secure the cage in place with a Prince Albert ring, so penis can't be extracted from cage, as it was during the long initial lockup. I'll secure the cage itself in place with thread locker, on a nut and screw, replacing the padlock.

I suspect there must be at least a subtle difference psychologically if you can no longer grasp your penis, or see it uncaged. I can still touch it, to clean it, inside the cage, but conventional masturbation isn't possible. If erections cause you pain, it likely provides some form of negative reinforcement.

I haven't masturbated to orgasm since January 2022, and that doesn't seem to be a problem for me; seldom feel a desire too. On a couple occasions I have seen white debris in the toilet after urinating which may be semen.

 

And so it begins...

To prepare for Loctober and the very fact I'll unlock for the last few days of October I've decided to lockup now for Sepember or as I like to call it 'Keptender'. Then hopefully locking up for at least half of NOvember, a brief unlock to avoid airport security and an 8 hour flight.

It's interesting, in the absence of a keyholder I'm keeping my keys in a locker in work, there's less temptation knowing that it's a 60 minute round trip to get the keys, then the aspect of explaining to my colleagues why I'm either back there after finishing work or why I'm there on my day off. I'm not sure if I could unlock or escape without the keys, I've not tried.

 

It seems that Locktober is certainly much more targeted towards the newer chastity wears or people that have been on/off. I can def. see your perspective coming from an experienced chastity wearer. I look at it like I participate in Ramadan (the Muslim month of fasting). I grew up Muslim but not really that religious (smoke/drink etc) - I like participating in Ramadan as a sense of bonding experience knowing that others are also going through the same challenging experience. It's not really due to religious reasons but more so for the other nonreligious bonding/internal elements.

As for me - I’ve been on/off chastity for about a year now. I got my first cage actually right before last year’s Locktober, which I participated in, but I felt it was a haphazard/not true Locktober experience. I've been really looking forward to this upcoming Locktober to push myself both physically/mentally.

My current cage is my best fit (after 5 cages/8 months), better knowledge/expectation (at least understanding of my physical/mental triggers), and just overall life circumstances. I started a 2-week lock-up period starting from 8/27 – 9/10. I will give myself daybreak, then start a 3-week lockup and end right before Locktober starts.

I’m still contemplating if I’m going to give my keys to someone – I have many opportunities to give my key to a dom in my local kink scene. I’ve met/played with a lot of amazing doms in my city, so I trust them however the logistics/hygiene/other elements make me apprehensive. I will keep my backup key with me maybe in my lockbox in which only the dom has the code. I will need to get unlocked once a week due to my hygiene (I currently unlock myself every day when I shower due to my skin irritation – so that’s also a major focal point I must address).

I also really want to have an interactive Locktober such as playing games/doing tasks/getting punished/etc. – I’m on Teamlocked and the Chasterapp so I might even incorporate that.

 

Anyone local to us participating this year? Could be fun enjoying Locktober with another local couple (Manitoba, Canada).

My LOCKtober gear arrived several days early, and all at once!

CKC-SmallWide (~2.4" or 61mm)
Icicles No. 46 (~1" or 25 mm)

This consists of a new chastity tube for my Cherry Keeper, as I already have a base-ring I am happy with.
I also ordered a glass p-spot toy to resume long-term plug training.

Advised Goddess who was pleased, and suggested we might start early, while sharing a nice bottle of red wine.
Had a nice relaxing shower to ensure all grooming was addressed, resulting in some very smooth skin (love melted coconut oil for shaving lubricant.)
I also made the mistake of trying to get the plug in while in the shower (save on lube mess that way), but of course best not to rush anything of that nature, and it did not go in (though it did feel AMAZING to play in the area again.)

Was able to come out and present to Goddess, with base-ring on and pre-treated (with heavy hand cream), the tube mounted and attached, with all that remained to pass Goddess inspection and have her remove the key.
Goddess was pleased as she inspected thoroughness of my shaving efforts, with slow trailing fingers that gave first test to the strength of my new chastity tube.

Then "accidently" she jiggled the key to get it out, and pulled out the whole (sleeve / magic) lock from the body of the cage.
This instantly caused it to "spring open" much to my surprise.
I could not help but blush a bit on her behalf, though part of me wonders if this was part of her "game".
Specifically as I then had to "re-assemble" the apparatus, now very much in an aroused state.

First overnight was OK, woke up again, as I was doing with my 85 mm Cherry Keeper, but then I tried sleeping on my stomach (and taking off the tight sexy thong panties), and this seemed to help.
Will try this first off tonight and see if it enables sounder sleep.
It feels SO GOOD to be locked again, after 22 days off due to my other cage becoming ill-fitting.

Me and my vanilla wife had a talk last few weeks about my desire to lock me up. And after a lot of talking she's willing to lock me up in chastity. I have to do everything she wants, and when I'm good boy I might ejaculation every 3 months. But when I did not do a good job, the lock up time can be longer.....
For now I can't be happier.....

 

Unsure what Locktober will look like for me. There’s been talks about it. And also talks about no-vember. And also talks about 90 days. I’m currently going about 2 months of 24/7 wear out one day a week and a few other times.
