I’ll be moving to Fort Leavenworth, KS this summer for a year (for a good reason, not the prison). I’ll only be there a year because it’s for a school and I’m actually very blessed to get selected for it. Anyway, it seems quite close to Kansas City. Is anyone from or familiar with the area. We’ll likely live on post, but are also considering off post housing because you can pocket a little extra money that way. Any areas recommended? Is there anything that is “must see/do” if you’re only spending a year there? I imagine not like the things we will have seen/done during 2 and 1/2 years in Europe, but there must be one of two things. Thanks I’m advance.
